It is a nice review and iv seen others do it too on the same tool but i wish u would be testing these on newer cars like 2015 and above not 2003's and 2005's.

@@todd5082 Not really. The last 4 took rseveral etrys to get them in. I think Jaguar, Lada, some other oddball ones that I've never heard of before. I wondered if I should even bother with them, but gave in to curiosity and got them anyway.

Just got as a christmas present 😀 think will be a good first scanner. ty for post of functions! Did notice i can combine data stream on pids then will have multiple on one graph. 👍👍cant find a way to get to psi or farenheight but will keep playing with it.
How do you like it after a year
I didnt look up what resets, or functions it can do, but seems slower then my 229. Still looks like it shows all the pids, and I like that that one has the graphing ability. But if it's even 1/3 what the old ones are, it'll be a le to do most basic testing. Glad I got to see the new one jim.

For a pro or someone who knows what their doing, and for the cost, it is a great scanner. Works well, just a little slow, all in all it is a real diag tool. Once again if you really know what your doing

Do you need to have internet to used it ? If you don't updates does that still work without updates ? Out from the box can you used it without wifi or internet ? Can this scan fpr Fuel Pressure ? And can this do compression test ?
One more thing ----> there is no charger with this unit and even though it offers a USB to whatever the connector is called, I just decided to take an old PSU I had laying around and I charge it from that.
After all - a Computer PSU is super clean and absolutely correct voltage and it charges the 123E just fine. I was worried 'cause the battery was still going lower and lower even if I left it plugged into the USB connex.
It just didn't seem to charge very well at all that way.

When I was checking my TCM on my ford focus with this launch 123e and I wanted to relearn the trans so I went to special function and it said I had to purchase it so I went to where I could buy it which was the ford full function in parenthesis it said Europe. Is that the one I should buy to get special functions. Thanks for any help
wish this was known before i got the one i have now and thinking i may just get one myself with that scanner having wifi to help you can take it on the road call and link it to the hot spot on your cell phone if need be

CRP123E can not do reset service,CRP129E can do Oil Service/EPB/TPMS/SAS/Throttle Body Reset.
other calibration service you should think abou more advance scan tool like Launch X431 Diagun IV or Launch X431 V Pro.
BTW... it will display 4 values at a time on the graph.

I have a CRP129E that seems almost identical to this one. Be careful when using with Toyota. I have noticed that it comes defaulted to Europe on Toyota models, and you'll need to "set area" to America or else it won't connect to the vehicle. I spent entirely too much time trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect to any newer Toyota's lol

Looks like it’s only the 5 reset functions the 129E has over the 123E, so the 123 is just a code reader and 129 has resets, I just did one on the 129E so I was curious too

No,only for 16Pin OBD2.
For OBD1,you need to buy adapter by yourself
One thing to remember about this scanner is that there is absolutely no support available in the United States for it. It is a gray market product being sold on Amazon. If it breaks you're on your own. I own one, it broke. Now it's a paperweight. Total waste of money.

I just got one and the power and ecu light in the up left corner will not come on.
Good video brother looks soooo close to the Creader 129E they sent me to do a video on..They are really fast and seem like solid readers etc. I wonder what the differences are from the 123 to 129E? I guess just the 5 reset functions the 129 has

Not Ford's but I'm sure it would on gm and other vehicles.
If it's like the older one I have, it will on non Ford vehicles. Ford as you prob know does balancing reading, and not individual cylinder readings unfortunately Justin.

Scan tools don't rewind mileage, however there is a tool that the AA guys use for odometer verification. And then dashboard repair places can rewind digital odometers.
