- A great example of a modified and street driven Mazda RX-4, Dunch's coupe is powered by a Promaz 20B 3-rotor billet rotary engine boosted by a Garrett GTX47 turbo, FuelTech EFI and some sexy candy paint.

You can tell he really loves that car and talking to people about it. Seems like a great bloke.
Truth
Especially when he's talking then stops mid sentence to hear the engine and shift gear 👌👌
Can confirm he’s one of the best guys I’ve met and is loved by all who crosses his path.
God damn it takes less than an hour to redrill your seat rails to move your seat back so your knees aren't in your chest you would think after 16 years he would have thought of that
@@blackthunder7342 Seems you missed 11:46...where you sliding the seat to? 🙄
This owner is the original car guy from the early 2000s different passion and love for it you can tell how he talks about it 👌 not many left
Real car guy hey you build my engines and make me a car because I can't do it.
@@motorman1873 I take all of my motors to my engine builder. Would far prefer a team of guys with well over 100years of experience to put together 20k of parts exactly right.. As opposed to me trying to do it in my garage with nowhere near the same tools or experience. Seems like a no brainer to me.
@@motorman1873 says the guy who’s never owned a fast car
What a sick car i would dead set swap my kidney for that RX4, tell old mate if he needs kidney mine is a 33 years old with about 50,000 beers on the clock
Probably doesn't want a kidney that has AIDS man.
Farkerrrnn NOLESAAAYYYY
Lol
😂😂😂😂😂
HA! mines got 0 beers! All protein shakes, water, milk, and orange juice. TAKE THAT!
Heyyy everyone!!! Just want to say a HUGE THANKS for everyone's comments and sharing there love ❤ I really appreciate every single comment on here 😊 And the biggest thanks to FULLBOOST for making the video and sharing my journey on the car over the years. Hoping to see you all out at the racetrack or streets soon GO THE ROTAS!!! BRAP BRAP BRAAAAP
Everyone really enjoyed watching you and your car mate. Looks like your a typical Aussie legend and thank you for sharing your car with us
This is such a cool car, I don't think I have ever seen an RX4 before this video, first RX I've ever seen in Europe was the RX7. So I'm blown away by this machine.
Still one of my favorite cars featured on this channel (and I'm not even that into rotaries), can feel the love that's gone into it.
that is the most perfect rx4 ive ever seen credit to the owner@!
If more people had rotaries in their life they wouldn’t be able to afford therapy
wouldnt even need one if we had rotaries
lmao best comment
So bloody true I gave up seals went every 6 months on me and bloody rotary shop, rank rotary in Melbourne just kept telling me it's better to just put a new reco in. They'd do that, 6 months later seals gone n they'd do the same again.
Lol you meant to say “ they wouldn’t have a need for therapy. “
Australian Vin Diesel! Epic RX4!
Please for my love of CZcams and fullboost do more of these videos! Any type of car with a little interview of the owner I would watch these all day long
Mad props from Texas, USA. I'm currently redoing the setup in my 808 Coupe from ITB bridgeport 13B to a turbo 13B but this has me seriously leaning to a 20B on my RX3 Wagon!
Absolute beast. Just an amazing build. I wouldn't change anything, it's perfect!
The sound of a rotary motor,, it's therapy.
Sounds like a very torquey Cosworth V6 - as used in the Metro 6R4
Lovely car, and a top guy owner.

His smile when he gives it some says it all. That's definitely what it's all about. Love his passion. Good on ya mate.
What a car. Build quality and the design of everything has been carefully thought out and executed.
Love it.
Love and respect from Saudi Arabia fans to all mazda lovers 👋😘
Had 2 RX4 coupes, such a great looking ride. This guy is so passionate about this car, thumbs up!
Your video quality and production is top notch to. Getting better all the time.
That is a beautiful car. You sure put a lot of love, time, effort, and $ into it. I had a 74 (had the ugly rubber bumper uprights) back in the early 90's. Wish I never got rid of it. I worked at a rotary specialist shop in the Seattle area. It had a nice street port 13B with racing beat headers and full exhaust. Holley 450. Rx7 GSL rear end (lsd and rear discs). The early rx7 waffle wheels with a set T/A radial's with the white letters out (think about the time frame). It was fast (at the time) I remember racing a brand new 93 Mustang gt and it was no challenge, so it was a low to mid 14-second car.... that was a fast street car in 1993. So glad you shared this video.
Lol, am I the only one who gets mildly stressed out watching him hold the wheel like that, heh
Always has been always will be mazda’s ‘muscle car’. The coupes in all the Mazda’s are a million times better looking than the 4 door variations too. Watching this is about as close as I will come to owning another RX4 coupe I think haha
Just tack 200k onto your house, what's the worst that can happen?
mate, when's your next video dropping?
What a car!! Amazing built. Also never heard anyone say a bad word about Daniel Pantelic. Absolute legend
You are so on the mark, once you owned a rotary it will remain in your veins for life, but when the seals go its probably the most depressing moment in your life, love the colour mate
He has put in the hard yards to have that RX4 as good as it looks and the sound is amazing!
Job well done boys, great episode. More of these. That paint job.....Well done Billy from RAJAB....next level.
What a great video! This guy seems like such a legend. Love his attitude and love his car. Good work bro! If he ever wants one of our fire extinguisher mount setups please reach out!
It's a had crafted 4 wheel jewel. I can't imagine how much effort you pour into it. Just one word, "beautiful"...
His enthusiasm towards it is great. The cars beautiful.
Love his passion sounds like a true car guy
That is a beautiful car. Great job to all involved. I love how much this fella loves this coupe. Long time builds like this one are great to learn about. Gives me hope that one day I too could have my project finished to such a high standard.
This ride is beautiful. Unbelievable build. Good job, man.
Great episode.. good /nice owner answering everything.. enjoyed that cheers
Beautiful car great job . From the states
VT
@@build2break yep
I’m not even a rotary fan and that thing is incredible.
Those are really common in Australia and Puerto Rico
Great video guys! Love the 20b!
Man I love all rotarys and can deny the perfection in the sound of a 4 rotor. That said the 20B has had my heart ever since hearing the 1st one. The 20A has a more rough and grunty sound than the other rotarys. They....just .....sound.......INCREDIBLE!
Back in early 80's I used to have a 71' Rx-3 and later I bought a 79' Rx-7 it was a 12a with the bridge ported it was a wicked little car! I can't imagine a 20b. This car apart from being beautiful is a beast. Nice ride!
God Bless!
love these vids and the incar footage. definitely do more of them
Absolutely Gorgeous car. Thanks for the inspiration!
Beautiful car great bloke merry Christmas and all the very best 4 the new year everyone cheers 🙏.
Excellent story, I look forward to seeing more of these👍
Awesome build Awesome video
Back in the 70s I had two RX3s and I still say they were the most exciting affordable road cars at the time, o.k. the power or performance isn't anywhere near what you can get today but back then they were the business. I've also had two Suzuki RE5s, an 'M' model and an 'A' model not too long ago and they were 100% reliable, the RX3s not quite so.
This is a work of art... I’m looking at FD’s now although their expensive now but something about the sound of rotary engines makes it unreal... bop bop bop bop bop. Love it..
Epic Mate. Great Job. Japan Forever.
Beautiful car.. 👌 nice seeing someone super happy and stoked with their car.. 👍
Everything about this was so well done, hope we can see a repeat of this format.
We have made videos like this in the past 👍
That was an awesome instalment! Wild car... and I’m definitely no rotor guy! I love what the owner said”if you have a car like that you don’t need a head shrink/doctor”! 😂😂😂
Wise bloke I say..! Total champion! Hats off too everyone involved in the build process. 🇦🇺🤜🏼🤛🏼🍀🍀🍀😎
He is right about that rotary smile. Have not owned one for 25 years time to get back in one .
Such a BEAUTIFUL display of an rx4 coupe, Owner def sounds like a nice Guy who's all about Rotaries and having Fun with it
Car looks mint 👌😎
Well done mate
this blokes a legend hahaha love the positivity
Well done, what a beauty ! Your fantastic grin says it all !!
Beautiful car 👌 Well built👏 I have a soft spot for them! My first car was a 73 rx4 coupe in the early 90s! Good video guys
That is an AWESOME car and a top bloke with a great attitude that owns it ...
Love this thing and the owners a champion
Beautiful ride from color to the interior the whole thing , great job.
Awesomely great build! Love it from inside out!
Beautiful car , the nicest RX-4 I've ever seen and the owner is a genuine nice bloke and loves that car like nothing else !
First car was a stock RX4 12B sedan ....... loved it. A turbo 12A/13B upgrade would have been a dream. A 20B ..... unbelievable. Great car with an amazing body after 45 years.
What a beautiful looking and sounding car! The classic 70's? look is timeless and the paint...Wow!
What a beautiful car !!
Beautiful machine! Great job!
Wow!! 😍 This car looks fantastic inside & out, really like the interior. Tastefully done! Lol Makes me want to get one. I live in New England and you don’t see these at all. Old school with new technology.
good to see some of your older style content
Car is gorgeous. Absolutely love it.
So happy there are more Rotary videos on YT
What a Fkn nice bloke, I don’t think anything makes people smile like a rotor
The vagina of the automobile world
his smile next to the engine on the picture. just awesome. who doesnt love the 20b
Top bloke and a sweet RX4! Legend!
love this car man... good build!
That rx4 looks killa 👌 perfect setup, colour & trim
Nice video. Enjoyed it.
Beautiful. Love the Color. Love the Chrome. The interior all I ca. Say is Wow. This Car is Special. UNIQUE.
What a beauty! I wish we had rx4's here in germany.
Greece got the 12A, Austria, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK got the 13B. The euro 13B had 5speed transmission and 195/70 tire. As you said, none for Germany.
Looks so beautiful! 😍
That is a sweet ride. Well done to all involved.
What a legend! The guy and the car. Memories of my old man dropping me to school back in the 80's. Wasn't as nice as this though.
800 hp in this little car! Omg thats awesome. More if a fan of American v8 cars but this little Mazda is little gem! 👍
Beautiful rotary love the way sounds there berry popular in Puerto rico enjoy your car👍
Nice one Dunch!
Massive respect from the UK as you would say she's a beaut, love the sound and the looks love that colour. I sprayed a BMX at colour in the 80s
What a good bloke, true enthusiast.
I didnt particularly like the rx4, until now. Beautiful build
If your car/truck doesn't make you smile like this guy then your driving the wrong car
love his perception🤜🤛
loved this video!
i reckon this intro, voice over, interview, dyno clip etc would be PERFECT on one of the Xbox/Playstation games.. Forza Motorsport would be amazing with something like that when you choose the a car(in game) matching anything you guys have reviewed.
The interior wow it looks like it belongs in a luxury car, Great Build Beautiful Power 👍
I had an RX4 back in the 70s. Monster port 13B. 20B wasn't an option back then. I bought the motor from Wayne Dyson himself. Pulled 12 seconds over the quarter. It was bright blue, (genuine Mazda color). I got some good results in car shows. Loads of looks driving it around back then. Loved it. At the time, it freaked a lot of people out.
Luv it.. simply beautiful👍
One of my favourite cars of all time, chromes the go!
Nailed it, that thing is winning.
Gorgeous ride!
Awesome looking car with a sweet noise
Great guy great attitude
Stunning. I had one when they were new.
Nothing like a rotary lol💯👍👍👍
What an awesome dude, nice an humble👌
The interior looks so cozy
Very nice, very clean. Special car.
"Build them to drive em, no point lookin at em" spot on bro. Enjoy it
A very beautiful car, loves the way the adores his car and telling how he has transformed it over the years...SUPER GREAT job.my son sent me this video and said he wants to go to Australia to see all the shops there...he is 12 and has been a car nut since the age of 7.
Wonder how fast he's going on the road and still broke tires loose ? That's insane and what a beautiful piece of auto history i really have always been big engine or nothing but these Rotary engines are power packed . Thanks for great video 🌎🇺🇸
