- In this first video from a new series we're introducing, we hop in and cruise with Pac Performance's Rockey Rehayem in the 'HACSAW' RX3 running Billet By Pac Plates & Rotor Housings on the street...
As we take you for a drive through the streets of Sydney in this next-level street car, Rocky gives us all a run-down on the car itself, billet plates & the new billet rotor housings currently being testing in the car.
This is a long video, PAC'd with awesome information so make sure you make yourself a drink, sit back and get ready to cruise... - Auta a dopravní prostředky
3:15 He subconsciously goes for the gear knob but it’s not there. Transitioned it nicely though 👌🏽
Such a humble and knowledgeable guy and proud of his product. Can't wait to see more of these vids.
Definitely needs to make this a weekly thing.
Hes been driving manual sticks for so long he went to grab a phantom shifter. Hes a real man. This was serious 🙏🏼
Rocky when you said back in 80,s at Oran park that we eat, sleep and live rotaries you were not
kidding well done the PAC boys love your work !!
Hi rocky big difference from the early days I remember George bringing his rx4 to the Padstow tafe dyno and the boys had their toranas and my yellow Val happy to get close to 200hp and George smashing out somewhere in the 300s we neally fell over Now world records and billet engines you have pushed limits and raised the bar congratulations to all your family and crew
You make it all look too easy :) Thanks for sharing Rocky!
Awesome video guys keep it up! Can’t get enough of these Rotaries🔥
Super humble man!!! Love the channel!!!
Even the bee can appreciate a mint rotor.....come so far keep it up👌
I have never been so impressed by a car driving normally around town, its absolutely beautiful to have an engine with so much power running so absolutely normally, Even if it takes me 10 years to save up i want that setup in my FD.
Awesome vid guys. Love the OG Yellow👌💪
Thanks great video keep them coming 👍👍
Nice work guys, been a fan since the early days of pacman vs Rodriguez. 👍
Thanks excellent video!
Excellent works!
Love those Rotary’s 💯👍👍👍
I remember racing the Pac boys back in the 90’s in the industrial estate where Eastern Creek is now.
They were amateurs but total rotary enthusiasts.
I think it was Rocky who tried to line me up in my SLR5000 with an RX7 but he didn’t know it was my twin brother lol.
Absolute full credit to the then Sadek Rotary and Pac Performance. You guys gave stayed true to what you believe for decades now.
I wished i had kept my Torana going by recent values, but I want… no, I need a rotary now.
I’ve been in mate’s mild ports, extended ports, Bridge ports and J Ports.
Above all was my mate Brett Stubs’ Peripheral Port injected RX2 coupe PIG.B8 which you bought and I believe back in the day bought his car to learn how his engine was built.
My machinist school mate spent most of his time boring and sleeving PP housings foe a number of builders, one being Matt Cole who I’m sure you remember.
But guys, your achievements since then when almost all others have abandoned rotaries is inspiring, and the sole reason I’m looking to buy a rotor now.
Rocky thank you for flying the rotary flag you deserve your place as Australia's no 1 genius rotary shop if not the world
Awesome vlog rocky 🇦🇺💯, pac built my rx7 and all though I have a 13b cast iron block , when I need a new block I’ll defo update to billet combo , thanks james😄
Thanks heaps for the ride bud.
Love it. Need more videos from you guys
SUP FROM ROTORUA NEW ZEALAND love your channel PLEASE SAY HI TO NEW ZEALAND keep up the awesome effort bros . Go the Pac boys
Awesome video ....... aloha 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
It's just such a shame that Mazda doesn't show the same amount of love and dedication to their product as the likes of Rocky and the entire PAC team do...just imagine how good the future of the rotary powered cars COULD have been...😭😭😭😭😭
Absolutely impressed with what these guys are doing, but Mazda should be commended for getting the Rotary as far as they did (and apparently will continue with it as generator - at first at least) as a mass market manufacturer and having to consider fuel mandates, clueless general public owners, etc - you get the idea. It's a different ball game .
You got me when you lifted the bonnet😂
Wiiicccckkkkked Rocky and team well done
I luv the fact that the OG is REALLY about R&D and letting People know that Pac Performance aint just talking about it, HAKSAW really IS about it! But how slick is that dash, push button console and paddle shifters!.....lol at OG reaching for the Stick, habits die hard.
Love those rotaries 1200hp Street car insane
Love to see the team at drag week !
I will have one of these machines one day ...these are my dream cars.
Great build man you are a legend #rotoryoda
Very nice work, so refined for a 1200hp Rotary..perfect for popping down to the shops for bread, milk or a Kebab :-D
I am from PUERTO RICO I am a Rotoraddict and this kind of cars are so reliables and fast to much technology congratulationssss
I am definitely working to get one of these full billet engines over to me in the US and my goal is to run Hotrod drag week or Rocky mountain race week with it to prove a rotary engine can be reliable while even pulling a trailer
Can we get more of these with sadek driving? :D great camera work
Want that in my lc torana! Always remember pac cars in magazines from years ago !
😃📗 Up to here on the other side of the world I used to buy some magazines📚 FAST 4 & ROTARYS to find out about the JAMBOREE event, 📙🧐 something like that for about 2001-05. And since they came from Australia it cost $ 10:00 + tax; something expensive because the magazines in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and the United States 🇺🇸 their price was $ 2.99 @ $ 5.99 but I was fascinated with seeing another country doing something similar to what is done here in Puerto Rico, and I wished they could meet and compete , Australia 🇦🇺 vs 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico;
Of course this was before the internet that allowed us to see the world, and then I followed them from the internet and finally like🤔 for 2006 if I am not mistaken that an entire event was held, 🙄to pay for the expenses to travel to Australia😊 🇦🇺 and those who will win were the ones chosen to go on boats to the other side of it. And then in 2016 Australia🇦🇺 I traveled to the United States 🇺🇸, which I was there, and I could see them appreciate their cars and also see them compete, my wish came true I could see it I was excited and I even have an autograph of 🚖👨 Rocky Rehayem, to keep him as memories, also came to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, and that was well appreciated in Puerto Rico, and won more admiration from the fans of the ♻️♻️rotives in Puerto Rico, who also returned again in the 2017. 🤗 And we have in common the Drag Racing Import Cars.

Hi Team. I see Rocky driving around Sydney in an obviously highly modified car. Can please tell me if you provide engineering certificates to satisfy NSW RMS regulations for registration purposes?
Nice 808
daily driver mate. Go down to the local fish and chip shop for 2 bucks worth of chips and a can of coke mate! Love you Rockey! Been watching you since the 90's. Love your work at PAC!
Thanks for showing us a man talking instead of the road. 👍🏽
Do another video in 40 degree summer 😂 beautiful car
When you say no water jacket, do you just mean around the port area?
Are we going to see your billet housings on the CNC machine ?
Is that pro gear whine I can hear or the gearbox whine?
Makes ya proud to be an Aussie 🇦🇺 {∆}
how much does a full build cost? i have a 1200 wagon and i want to get it fully done by you guys
B2A testing billet rotors and have billet housings in the works. Interesting to see where all this innovation goes..
Would love to see a brand make the big jump and potentially take the 13b design but making everything 5-10% bigger* A big block rotary if you will. JUST SAYING. hintedy hint hint.
Gotta have the mahnoosh 😂
Could you tell us more about fuel economy? Im curious to see if it could overtake the piston in the future.
what's fuel economy??
Hi guys are these big power motors that run on the street reaching good amount of kms in your testing ? Over 20,000kms with the same motor ?
We've got several 500+hp street cars that have been running for 10+ years on the same engine
Woot
This is one badass street/strip car. What transmission is in it sir?
c4 3 speed automatic with electric paddle shift setup
Mazda should sign up Rocky and his team to build a high end super car, what an amazing man with a ton of knowledge.
Very humble man looking forward to more videos, better than porn
And when is Billet Rotors coming
Hes the God of rotary engines....
SUP FROM ROTORUA. Beautiful bull terrier as your profile pic . Hard to come by these days.!
You missed the ‘Bee on the bonnet’ opportunity
Really wish Rocky spooled it up at least.
Typical pac not showing engine bay. Haha.
What fuel is it running on ?
Normal unleaded fuel for street cruising
This man is Felix Wankel in his second life I bet ya!
How much $$$$ would this set up set me back. I mean the exact same thing you are driving from start to finish???
My guess would be $100k aus for the engine and driveline but would love to know the answer too!
I think he says in the HOONIGAN visit video..
Very-very-nice,-can-you-open-a-store-in-QLD?-Haha
manual-gearbox-reccomendations?
zoom zoom oh sorry😎
why using 2 feet?
Has anyone built a 2.0 four rotary?
Rob Dahm built a billet turbo AWD 26b if thats what you're asking . . .
Hey Rocky, I can test any rotary engine for you..
Just send me the billet engines I'll let you know the results in about 5 years...🤪🔨 .
Can't imagine driving this without a stick
Rocky opens the bonnet 6 inches, drops it and say's nah next time.... broken hearted....
Secret secret pac 🙄
日本の国内市場にRX-3はありません
Who else came straight from hoonigan
Maybe not 🤣🤣
Go buy milk and bread or go set a world record in one car
Drug money uleh
RX3s were R&D'd by Mazda to have 13" wheels on them. Not 17s or 20's witch make the car a danger to the driver and all those around. Also it makes them look like an overgrown rollerscate.
Not sure what your comment has to do with this video, but just for your information, this car runs 15" Wheels at all 4 corners and there's not a lot of original Mazda engineering left in these cars when we build them. Everything is upgraded to suit and all are thoroughly tested by a certified engineer when issuing the certificate.
I hate this video,,,, put the car In boost ,,,,, I can drive a broken rotary all day too ,,,, shame on you
