I wonder how many penalties Mccoist got from cheating. I remember him doing it in a league final with Celtic in 1984.
Out those three finals in 87, 88 and 89, this was, arguably, the one we didn't deserve to win, played better in the others but lost so it was good to have luck on our side that day :-)

Theo's finest hour as a Don. Was at the game and the one 2 years previous when we were robbed in ET by chicken-legs. Arguably we were lucky given the balance of play but what a bounce when Mason slammed it in.

Both keepers were excellent that day but Snelders was something else, saved Rogan's pen in the SC final shootout to boot. Should have played at a higher level tbh and thats coming from a dandy.

Rangers penalty??? If I remember correctly, the Davie Cooper free kick in one of the other finals, came from something similar. McCoist was always a diver, as he knew, that playing for Rangers, he would get a fair slice of them. Not one goal in the Champion's League for Salary McCoist and a flop in England. Level playing field, found out. Anyway Rangers died and a tribute act now plays at Ibrokes.
