This video still have value Faxi Nadu.
.... and I might say. thanks to the better reputation of Nord 2 , in psytrance and/or analogue addicts and fans, the NL3 still sells for reasonable prices. In last years the NL4 and the A1 came out, but still this is the best that Clavia created . W la trance !

I bought the Nord Lead 3 a couple of days ago. Your video made me realize I made a good decision. I also have the Nord Lead 2 and like it very much, but wanted something deeper and perhaps a bit different in sound. I think the Nord Lead 3 will do great. Thanks for posting the video.

thanks Faxi Nadu, some times I get into your video reviews, I don't know why.. hehe ... this one was good for me!!. I also play in order to do Electronic PSYCHEDELIC, even I would not say my playing sound Psytrance, I want to play in psy-trance musical contexts, I am very inspired by the years 95-2005 of goa psy-trance of the most experimental. Kind of Ollie Olsen fan.
But I need some adivce from you. I would actually pay you for a workshop if I would be leaving in Israel.
I Love fully multi-timbral insturment with wide capabilities and functions. For now I just own a Pyramid Squarp Standalone sequencer which I use with a Blofeld (16 multi timbral channel/parts) in order
to play with a sort of super groovebox to can go and jam around taking only a 5ltrs back pack..This approuch to music was initially inspired by looking at the rs7000, MC909, and Electribe EMX1.
.. Blofeld is cool cause it gets rotary endless encoders and is good to move between parts without adjusting again back all parameters.
But Blofeld is not easy. A part of its difficulties and non-interactivity has huge lack in to selecting the parts. its so slow to do that and it cuts all the performative side.
So, d you have some good example of multi timbral as such? Something that appears in to this nord lead or Nova Novation for istance, a button per part. They all say VIrus is the way to go.. but no rotary encoders, and there are so many in psy trance playing with it.
A part of multi-timbral, what would you recommand me? Pyramid can play on 64 tracks, each per intrument. So you can give more than one example if you want ;)
cheers made... and thank you for your attention. and if you have not time to answer is ok ....
    your music actually rocks! ;)

I'm curious if the Nord Lead 4 or A1 has generated any buzz around where you are. In particular, the NL A1 as it seems to be quite popular. In Japan where I'm at, the prices are identical between the NL4 and NL A1. It makes it quite difficult to choose between the two. So I bought an NL3 for the half the price, which I wanted anyway but I did look at the newer ones briefly. Neither caught my eye over the other as they both had strengths and weaknesses. The A1 though seems to be what people prefer which is interesting considering it is sort of a cut down version of the NL 4 if correct.

lead 3 had the best interface but i sold mine. i wasn't happy with its sound. call me traditionalist but to me sound of original lead/lead 2 is desirable. my original lead died. between lead 4 and a1, people are saying that a1 has got the 'character' i am fond of from lead 1/2. that may explain the relatively high cost. While lead 4, despite being more capable has the lead 3ish sound, slightly better. the sound is okay but something is missing. same is true for virus ti for example. however that's much capable in terms of feature so it's justified. right now i have wave and stage 2. I need a new synth. what do you recommend? lead 4 or A1?

i think i prefer the superior interface of the NL3 more than anything else, even sound. call me an anti-traditionalist
