- Today we bring out some of the Super X Xpert High Velocity Steel 2-3/4" 1oz steel 6s and put them to the test at 20, 30, and 40 yards through the Remington 11-87 and a Patternmaster Black Mamba .690 choke. We definitely saw some pretty good results from this combo, so stick around and see how it performs!

Thanks Matt I'm one of the guys that asked you to do it you did a fantastic job man
Thanks for the suggestion!
Being a rabbit hunter, tht would be a great swamp rabbit combo.
Yep, it would definitely work pretty good for that
Great patterns. Thanks
Definitely looks pretty good!
That is pretty solid.
Yep, definitely not bad
Super impressive! I use size 7 of these shells and they have been great for me. Thanks Matt!
I have never tried any of the 7s, but this combo definitely looks pretty good
Yeah let's do the upland steal that sounds real good
After seeing this, I definitely want to test the Federals as well to see how they might compare
@@matttyreeoutdoors those Federal uplands are the ones I use to hunt doves
I've been hearing that we need to be subtracting 35 FPS when shooting bird shot over chronographs.
I definitely don't claim to be a chronograph expert, but I have never heard that anywhere. I don't know though, but it seems like it really wouldn't matter as long as the wad or any other bits weren't interfering with the chrono readings
Could you try the Winchester supreme hv 00 buckshot thru the momba tube
I do have some older Supreme HV 00 shells, so we can definitely test that combo here soon
Small pay load with high velocity.
For quails best option.
1325 FPS isn't that high of velocity with steel shot, all things considered.
@@saltcreekammo Yes, Damage is low.
Yeah, that's what they were designed for, those smaller birds like dove and quail
Will you be texting winchester supper x 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 oz bb shot?
I will definitely keep an eye out for some to pick up and test
