Loved your commentary on diana .she is a (dramatic contralto) the rarest type. When I first started listening to her it was like she reached into my chest and gave my heart a gentle squeeze . sometimes I would catch my self not breathing the emotion felt so intense

Great, I like your emotional reactions. Diana has something mysterious, mystical in her voice. If Dimash is the universe, then Diana is the earth, our home... Diana has a rare contralto voice and when you hear her voice, you feel like, she's wrapped you in a warm velvet blanket and gives you a cup of hot, dark chocolate. It is about a young woman, who scurries around Paris, misses her lover and seeks comfort in the nightlife.
Diana was born May 2003. 31 in Arsenyev in the Far East Russia.
Diana didn't have a happy start in life. Her biological mother is an alcoholic, had 12 pregnancies, only Diana survived... but the woman who gave her birth did not want Diana either, mistreated her severely and tried to drown her. Relatives found the girl with a broken collarbone on the street and took the 3-year-old girl to a children's home shortly thereafter. Only then did she find love… by Irina Ponik, who worked in the children's home and who became, what I call, Diana's “real mother”. Diana was adopted by her at the age of 5 and has been living in a poor but loving family ever since. She was far behind in her language development and so, on the advice of a doctor, she received singing lessons.
In 2012, the family moved thousands of kilometers away, to Togliatti, because Diana did not let go of the fear, that the woman, who gave her birth, would take her away.
Diana's voice and sense of rhythm were extraordinary even as a child and she won over 50 competitions in Togliatti and the surrounding area. Her confidence grew, her voice continued to develop, and Diana's stage costumes swallowed up the family budget. So, her mother completed a sewing course and has been sewing all the clothes herself since then.
One day Diana was advised to take part in competitions further away, so that the other children also had a chance to win.
Diana convinced with her talent and her voice in numerous national and international competitions, the Chinese competition for young artists and the competition 'Talents of Wolgaland'. She is a multiple winner of the Grand Prix of all-Russian and international singing competitions.
2011 - Gold medal in the competition for young artists in China
2014 - silver vote in the all-Russian competition 'Talents of the Volga'
2016 - Grand Prix at the international 'Crystal Gift' competition
2017 - Gold Medal at the All-Russian Youth Delphic Games
2017 - Grand Prix of the Moscow Time Festival
2017 - I have a Laureate Diploma in the 'ART PREMIUMPEOPLE AWARDS'.

To the general surprise, none of the judges turned around but the whole audience gave 'standing ovation'. The next day, a huge scandal broke out on the Internet. People demanded for Diana's participation in the competition.
In 2018 and 2019, a unique international competition 'You are Super', especially for adopted and orphaned children, was launched in Moscow, which Diana won. The competition consists of several qualifying rounds. These performances were broadcast nationwide, uploaded to CZcams and made Diana known worldwide. She now has hundredthousands of fans all over the world. Her russian fans chosen Diana as "National Treasure" (no official title).

In the Kremlin Palace takes place the final of the international singing competition for children 'You are super!'. The winner of the season is determined by a 6-day viewer vote, in which not only Russians, but also residents of the CIS countries take part, all viewers of the TV show. By 11 participating countries also will be selected from the finalists the names of the participants in the “Children's New Wave”, the “Junior Eurovision”. The winner of the audience award in 2018 at the “Children's New Wave” festival became Diana.
After Diana Ankudinova won the competition Igor Krutoi (mentor and jury member of the competition) presented her an apartment in Moscow, so that she could continue her vocal training with the best teachers.
The broken voice made her voice darker and deeper. She works hard to get back the high notes that have been lostShe works hard to get back the high notes that have been lost. She will soon finish school and will probably start a university studying. Her fans gifted her a home studio and so she is currently (corona time) experimenting a lot with different genres of music and appears again and again on large but also on small stages. Well copied but she moved to Moscow at the end of the 2018 season and was always announced in the super season as "from Moscow" as opposed to "from Togliatti" in the second season (Diana's first) - and if you like I shall put it all into good English. The order of songs in the competitions was: Derniere Dance, Man's Man's world, semi-final Реченька and final Tomorrow is a Lie. For the super season the order was Вьюга, Wicked Game and Human in the final. This information is gleaned from interviews she has done, from the show itself and the show's wiki page in Russian.
Diana says, that she is Russian and she doesn't like discussing these issues

Фишка Дианы в том, что она любой кавер поёт так, что эта давно всем известная песня в её исполнении звучит совершенно как новая песня. Причём делает это просто шедеврально.
