The Provider
I'm usually the opposite...stubborn, saying no to the yes that God is saying. Not wanting to move forward when He wants me to do so. I always say God needs to send me a burning bush like He did Moses, cause I don't trust the whispers, thinking it's my own voice rather than the Holy Spirit.

I want to say “yes” as well.. “and” I had a “burning 🔥 bush experience >6 years ago. I don’t know if it were man made or truly heavenly. It and many other unexpected things happened.. this did draw me closer to God.. changed my life forever. I tell myself someone prayed for me.
Yet, The Bible says in Romans 3:11 “There is no one who seeks God” God Himself is the One who ran us down and convicted us of sin. If He couldn’t run faster than we could, we would never have been saved. Not only is He the Convictor, He is also the Convertor. He is the one who opens our understanding.
I always say He has to hit me upside the head- He always does.❤️He has been speaking and moving hugely in my life lately. He is sooo good. His will is so much more than I could have asked for.❤️He knows what’s best for us.

Then. More recently he said I needed to let go of him, I was a little confused at first. But I did obey and then just like that I was at peace, because I had believed the first time he spoke it was about a guy, that is pretty special And it hurt pretty bad to let him go. At first but it opened a door for someone else a very upright man of God . I've watched our relationship flourish

I think it's critical for us to ultimately be adaptable whether God opens or closes the door in question. It's hard for us to stay objective, especially when it pertains to dating and relationships. We are often biased towards "hearing" what we want to hear. As you pointed out, Mark, it seems when we truly surrender to the will of God, that clarity will strike in some form. That's often when we're finally ready to hear the truth. If we are willing to submit to the will of God and do what is best in light of His eternal plan, we'll finally acclimate to the direction God wants to take us. Otherwise, we may only be open to hearing His guidance when it fits our agenda.
Instead, we should live for eternity, knowing that when we think we're giving up our most cherished possessions (or, in this case, desires for a relationship), we are opening the door to something much greater long-term. If we are content and satisfied in Jesus Christ, we don't need to rely on others to fill the void only He can fill. We cannot allow ourselves to get caught up over-emphasizing relationships or even marriage. God's timeline is often different than ours, but if it's meant to be, it will come to pass. It's going to be a much smoother ride if we appreciate the journey as well. Singleness has many advantages that free us up to go all-in for God in different ways than in a marriage relationship. These benefits should be embraced because every day is a gift, and not a single day is promised to us.
Enjoy the moment. Keep your eyes open and prayerfully seek God's will. He may send you a prospective spouse when you least expect it, but even if He doesn't, you have a special call on your life. We need to pursue greatness in every season. For some of us, that might include extended seasons or even lifetimes of singleness. If that's the case, He will equip us for that time. In the end, life is fleeting and eternity is forever. The only marriage that matters forever is our marriage with Jesus Christ. We are the Bride, and He is the Groom. While earthly marriages can be a beautiful, microscopic reflection of that future, and we can bring God glory with a spouse, singleness is also a precious gift. After all, what we do in this life for God, is not worthy to be compared to the glory which will be revealed in us (Romans 8:18).

I agree w/ this video 100% i will say this though...as a christian myself i know many people who the person they married "in the beginning" was not as close to God as the other person was. Yet they stayed together & got married & it was not until later on that the other person's relationship w/ God got better. I know many christians in there 20's, 30's & 40's where one of them was more close to God then the other but they are still together & very happy. I do agree w/ God's word that you should marry a believer 100% w/ the understanding that everyone's personal walk w/ God is something that can only grow overtime.

I know God told me months ago to let go of a person ... I KNOW he told me to let him go... but temptation crept into me and I didn’t let him go, here I am still with this person, I feel confused and with a heavy heart everyday because I know God told me he’s not the one 😞 it’s so hard because he’s not a bad person all, and he’s the person who knows me best. But I can’t marry someone who does not believe in Jesus 😞😞 I met him before I believed in God. I’ve known this person for 4+ years. I know God is good, but it hurts that he allowed me to get this close to somebody that I can’t be with 😞 I pray that I can soon muster up the courage to close the door

@@victoriastewart1523 wow seeing this comment a year later is so interesting! I finally listened to God. Door was closed. I openly apologized to the person for the whole experience, which I believe God wanted me to do, and then I let him go. While that was happening, I also asked God to give me a reason not to go back to him ever again. And He did. God always will show you who a person is when you ask him to. I prayed a lot for him, forgave him, and also apologized on my part. I remember him every now and then but my chest isn’t full of pain anymore and it feels different, I feel set free, and I feel content that the door was closed. It was no doubt a step in the right direction, a step towards God’s plan for me (and him). God is good. He did it for me and he can do it for you!!
God is always there for us all. Gods timing is always right on time.

I’m actually dumbfounded. I asked God about a certain guy and the very next morning I woke up with a verse on my mind and immediately grabbed my Bible..... the Bible verse was Jeremiah 1:12. I had never before heard of this verse. I am fully convinced that this is a direct answer from God.

Priority one: Love God. Before being saved I remember Billy Powell of Lynrd Skynrd stated his priorities were God, his family and music and at the time I thought how strange...but it stuck with me. Now, I see love of God as first priority and then His mission and purpose for you the next. A woman should always be a complement to your life, not the center. If you are obsessed with her, then confirmation bias is going to skew his message, You will only hear what you want to hear. Keep priorities straight and the rest will follow.
The second one is for meeeeee. I even got upset at God because I was wondering why He is contradicting Himself. But I realized it was me not wanting to let go of the relationship I should have let go off. But I let go, and it's ok. Thanks Mark.

I think understanding the importance and implication of dreams is a lost art form in Western culture mostly due to the depth of philosophy and advances in technology we've made, and an atheistic culture which scoffs at the existence of anything intangible. However, wise Christians (especially those living here from developing societies) tend to understand the importance of both philosophy and psychology, the logic of the soul which doesn't sleep, in their walk with God.
Dreams do not override the Word of God but they can provide a lot of insight into it. Jacob, Daniel, Joseph of Egypt and Joseph the adoptive father of Jesus Christ had radically transformed lives, ministries and destinies because of their God-given dreams which they gained understanding from.
In my life I've understood a lot about people and relationships through what I've dreamt before, during or after it has ended. Doesn't happen often but the message was often very clear and it wasn't scary, depressing or anxiety inducing. The truth gives peace and sets you free. Also, you may not see anything come to pass immediately but your dreams may confirm what you sense the Holy Spirit has already told you.

🥰❤️this reiterated why I got involved with my youngest son’s dad after an abusive marriage....I had sworn off all relationships but I heard HIS voice tell me to pull into the place the guy I wound up loving more than I thought possible after all the years of abuse....in a biblical sense I am only his and have stayed loyal and faithful to him even when another is trying to take me by saying my “son needs a father” he has one and if it wasn’t for my ex husband taking my minor daughter from me (thought I would never see her again and that’s pretty much what has happened) I was happier while with the one HE sent me to....to this day I still dream of the baby’s dad and hope he has been as loyal and faithful as I have.....his ghosting us doesn’t help my thoughts though 😒 eventually he will come to realize the only “daddy” our son knows is him may the Lord bless the 3 of our souls as we find our way back to each other

I believe God might be pointing me back to someone, but I have strong reservations because I'm no longer in the business of building a man. He has to come back already assembled (on his own) with provision in his hand. I don't want someone who is a liability. I'm 48 and too old to "see where this goes." Plus I gave this person a second chance already, and he fumbled that. And from what I can see through word of mouth, he is still nowhere in life yet God seems to have surrounded me with his relatives thus putting my ex in my orbit. Confused for years but refuse to "take a leap of faith" because I don't feel safe.

God rescued me from a toxic relationship in an amazing way, and immediately after the rescue, He started showing me someone in my dreams of which i was so grateful about and started praying about it because i believed God. I have never met this person in person and he doesn't know me but for me i see him because i was directed by the Holyspirit to start fellowshiping from his church, but in the process of waiting on the Lord to make the right moves for me, he recently made a statement while preaching that, "some of you do not know that am seeing someone and am going to marry her next year." So am totally confused if it was really my God who was directing me because we have not yet met. I need guidance on this please as iam also on my knees trying to ask God about it again.🙏

No, I don't talk too much about marriage on this channel.
So I met this girl in the church and started a relationship with her but from 3 months after
dating I had several dreams about her and they were all negative and concerning. I tried to break up with her but she was very persistent so I would try to stay in the relationship to see if things would get better. We ended up sinning several ways against the Lord we couldn't even understand each other and were always fighting so I decided to let her go but she keeps writing to me saying that she's in deeply in love with me but I fear that if I give it another try this relationship would not give Godly fruits to the Lord but would instead be a very toxic relationship. I was doing better with the Lord before engaging with that girl but I honestly will say I don't know what to do a she keeps texting to me and telling me that she loves me a lot and that things would improve with the help of God but I fear these dreams were in fact God's asvertisement about this relationship. Anyone could help?

Help me people I met a guy online and he's a Christian and want a pure and godly relationship and wants to marry me but I am having issues to travel because of covid restrictions and he still feels condemned regarding his past sexual immorality and drowns in delres at times. What should I do?

If he wants to marry you, he should come to India to meet you and know you well. Don’t take impulsive actions n go unless you’ve met him.

If they are not a Christian you are still unequally yoked. You have to remember that just because someone acts a certain way now does not mean that is how it will always be. God knows the future so we need to follow him in the present.
