    What are your approach, departure and breakover angels after your 2 inch frame lift and 3 inch body lift? I could see you approach and departure angels being significantly better since you raised the front and rear bumpers clearances 5 inches but the breakover wouldn't be as significant since you only raised the frame 2 inches. I am seriously thinking about doing an over land build on a dakota but building it on the club cab version since I don't need the extra doors.

      @justind9631 Před měsícem

      The angle wouldn’t make it to much better with the body lift but what it will do is give more clearance for bigger tires which would help off-roading

    Thanks for the great video packed with info and links! I ordered the headlights, taillights, and leaf springs blocks. If just doing the 2” torsion and 2” blocks, are my current shocks still ok? Thanks brother 👊🏼

    • @bikesandbangs

      Yes, factory shocks are fine for just 2" of lift 👍

      Hey there we’re u able to put on the 35s with the 2” torsion and 2”blocks?

    • @bikesandbangs
      @bikesandbangs  Před 4 měsíci

      Never tried but I can assure you that you won't get 35's on with anything less than 5 inches of total lift. It's snug even with our body and suspension lift

  • @stephs1571
    @stephs1571 Před 8 měsíci

    Nice build. Are the fenders larger on the 2004 than the 2006? When I measured mine, it seemed to fit 33's max.

    • @bikesandbangs
      @bikesandbangs  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Yes, the 1997-2004 have significantly larger fenders. Idk y they made the wells so much smaller on the newer ones

    • @ocavant
      @ocavant Před 13 dny

      @@bikesandbangsNot all. I have an ‘02 4x4 and it does not have the fender flares. I think the truck looks better without them, but it’s not as useful if you’re doing full on off-road.

    You did suspension and body lift?

  • @edwardmoreno5558
    @edwardmoreno5558 Před 7 měsíci

    Bro, pretty much copied what you did and love my Dakota. I have a question did you install any wheel spacers ? For the running on super tight turns ?

    • @bikesandbangs
      @bikesandbangs  Před 7 měsíci +1

      I have no spacers, so I just don't crank it all the way when turning. Since I only get rubbing at full lock. I feel like more than half inch spacers would give you a ton of rubbing on the rear of the front fender wells

      @edwardmoreno5558 Před 7 měsíci

      Cool thanks, love your channel and don’t stop. PS the IRON MANs 35s are perfect for grappling through mud. I’m in construction and the only that can get on the site with my Kota. Keep up the great work.👍🏼

    • @bikesandbangs
      @bikesandbangs  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Supreme Suspensions makes the suspension lift, Performance Accessories makes the body lifts

    How high can you crank the stock keys with ruining the ball joint angles

    • @bikesandbangs

      @@bikesandbangs okay cool just got my hands on an 04 quad cab . To crank up its clock wise right? Have you had any issues with ball joints or front end wear

    • @bikesandbangs
      @bikesandbangs  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@benbrumbley181 well my ball joints weren't anything great when I got the truck, so I replaced them right after I did my lifts. I'm sure in theory they will wear out quicker but if you just crank the stock keys they should last quite a while
