I've been wanting to design and make my own swim baits and jigs for a long time now. Being an old Special Effects artist - sculpting, molding and casting come second nature to me. Thanks for the awesome video 👊🏻

*Found this through a CZcams video **enjoyable.fishing** recommend does exactly what its meant to do. Very durable and no hang-ups at all surprisingly*

This was exactly what I was searching for. I've got a few baits I've carved I would like to make two piece molds out of. Super easy to follow along, definitely saving this for reference

Can you pour that resin into your already existing “aluminum mold” in order to make your master blanks to produce a multi cavity mold?

That's absolutely amazing. I've been trying to find a way to make soft plastic crab lures but it's been a nightmare with silicone.

Its metal cast. Im a mold maker by trade(28 years) and have worked with this material extensively. I know that it will break down quickly due to the high heat needed to melt the plastic. This is for the hobbyist not big lure productions. The life of the mold will be short before it starts to chip out and crack.
