Bench comparison of the GoldTC prototype and the popular Xray X4 2024. Width and length are the same. X4 has a lower cg in the bulkhead / diff area. But I like the blue bling bling of the GoldTC :) #rc #GoldTC #xrayx4
You know, I watch loads of RC channels on CZcams. I have to say your videos are the most I look forward to. You’re an amazing father and your passion for the hobby is inspirational. You’re highly knowledgeable and informative, very patient and extremely respectful. I truly believe Porsche will be ranked #1 in the world someday soon. 🫣 I have a few TT02’s that I to have also been working on, getting them dialled in to perform way beyond their original design. Hopefully soon I’ll also upload some videos to CZcams and you can see what I’ve been up to. 🤭 Take care anyway the pair of you and thanks for all your efforts and hard work. I’ve learnt so much from you. It’s unreal.
Nice comparison with the X4. Thanks for the updates on your TT01. Great to always see little changes. 🎉

Many thanks for watching and the kind words! Just lucky to still be enjoying the hobby with my kids.
Just thinking about rear body posts. Maybe mount vertically more towards the front. Might give more steering?
FWIW ...
My prior design had vertical but I just did not like the ugly look :D I still have leeway to move body forward if more steering is needed. :)
You could use heat shrink for the pins on the centre drive shaft. You know... for that two-gram weight save in the drive train haha
I used to do that, the pins still managed to push thru and the heat shrink would also often slip off.
@@rccartips Oh wow. Just get a slower driver then haha
Baby Driver....good movie 😆
Wow you picked up the reference :D
Looks good! Maybe lacks some corner speed?
Yes. Will keep trying :)
I put the blame on the starbucks for making the tamiya slower..
@@gtracing399 Drinking it now, underwhelming compared to Australian coffee :D
Your GoldTC is actuality a modified TT01? What mods or parts did you used?
Yes base is a TT01. Custom made the suspension. Details in prior videos :)
i watched your testing a lot in this track, how is the traction?
Low to medium grip.
i wish to see the real car
See you next month!
i am first like, haha
As always! :D
