One small point regarding the steering EPA. Make sure the D/R is on 100% before you start adjusting the EPA

So what if you need more steering when its out on the track? Your topped out already

@@dmatter827 if 100% on D/R is on the stops there is no more steering to be had. I usually end up turning the D/R down to about 80% anyway

Everything he mentions I’ve come to figure out on my own after years of racing. I agree with everything he said. Long story short, you want your onroad car to be competitive, you have to take every single setting super seriously and everything has to be as perfect as humanly possible. If you rebuild your car in a couple hours, you’ve already failed.

I really appreciate your youtube channel, even if i don't own any Xray touring car. At the moment i am getting into mod racing. i am a bit confused, which wing options i should have for twister or twister speciale bodies. There are precut wings from 0 to 4° angle available from Xtreme. Which wing options do make sense? Should i mount 0,7mm wings on 0,4 od 0,5 mm bodies?

I would not get the precut angled wings for mod racing. For mod racing, mostly, I use a light (0.5mm) body for outdoor racing, sometimes even UL (0.4mm) if the track is flat, grip is high, and if it isn't too windy. As for the wing, I usually use the supplied wing but in L (0.5mm) thickness, since the 0.4mm wings are usually too flimsy.

Hi Alexander, Iam looking for a good basic setup for stock racing on a low grib asphalt technical track. Iam currently running the Basic Asphalt Setup I found on Petitrc for the Xray X4 2023. I would like to get better grip, do you have any recommended setup sheet from Petitrc that I can maybe use as a reference. I noticed some setups require alot of shims that is not provided with the kit, so it would be nice to have a pretty standard setup for low grib, technical asphalt track that doesnt require this if possible. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Mathias, please take a look at this stock set-up from my home track for the X4'23. It's low to medium grip at best, using Matrix tires. Let me know how it works!
As for shims, unfortunately, a few different ones may be needed. I really recommend purchasing shim sets from XRAY or Monaco RC/Officina RC.
