Nice video John. I never thought of using the allen driver through the blade grip bolt hole to align the grip with the main shaft.

To further clarify this point, it is actually best to use an appropriate diameter long bolt rather than an hex driver. I used a hex driver in the video because I did not have a long M5 size bolt for the video. The hex driver I used in the video was mainly to visualize the concept. The hex driver fits too loosely with too much play within the blade grip bolt hole. You really want a "long" bolt of appropriate diameter for the blade grip hole.

I just lay an old Align pitch rod across the saddle of the head and look across the top of the blade mounted pitch gauge to set my zero. I don't know why someone doesn't make something that just slips in that slot for ease in zeroing like this.

I read and re-read what you stated above a few times, but I am having a difficult time understanding what you mean. I am not familiar with the "old Align pitch rod" or what you mean by the "saddle of the head". What is the "slot" you are referring?

Nicely done John. Can you add chapters/bookmarks to make it easier to jump forward/backwards and find sections?

I added "timed chapters" based on your recommendation. Let me know if I should add any particular timed chapter. Thank you for the suggestion.

@@johnahamelv Perfect. It's really good for SEO when Google indexes it too.

@@rchelicopter I had to look up SEO (search engine optimization). I am an older guy still learning the technology. 😁

John would you have the 3d file for the gauge to share? TIA

I just added weblinks to the related Tinkercad page

@@gerrykeaveney1657 I believe I fixed it. Tinkercad defaulted the objects I designed to "Private". I just made them "Public".
