Mountain Dew is coming out with a new Citrus Cherry (remix from an earlier version), that won't be Game Fuel this year! But the Two Bald Guys got their hands on a couple bottles before the Game Fuel name was removed to review the taste...look for it in stores in late October/early November! - Komedie
This soda is so good. I'm from New York I don't think this was around before in this state. Might be my favorite soda now.

That's actually not true. Citrus cherry game fuel was made permanent in some areas due to popular demand. Its been around as a regular flavour since 2014, you can find 12pks of this on eBay already. Ive bought one🤷. Its the original game fuel, but only with the 1/2 calories. It's still game fuel, it's just promotionaless

My local gas station (Lake Camelot Lake Mart) has had it in stock for the last 2 years. Funny thing is, I'm the only one who buys it. Best available soda flavor hands down. I remember my local Walmart having the 12 packs like a year ago but they're gone now.

This is not true.... Citrus cherry is not new... it's been out since 2007.. but you are correct it's new for 2018 for other states... while most already been had it and became permanent in midwest area... here in florida we don't have it yet or may not come here at all. but it is good to see you guys posting it up for reviews.

So they're dropping the Game Fuel name and just releasing it as Citrus Cherry? Fine with me! This is my favorite soda and I enjoy it even after the recipe change. It's simply been impossible to find here in Georgia while other regions could get it year-round.
Correct, that's what we're hearing from Pepsi as they'll drop the Game Fuel name on this particular flavor! It should be launching nationwide in late October/early November!

Bother you but do you know by any chance if Mountain Dew Citrus Cherry is just a certain area product or is it supposed to be all over the United States because I live in Illinois and I have not been able to find it anywhere in Illinois or even Missouri or Arkansas or Tennessee or Mississippi I'm just curious on if it's in certain States cuz I thought it was supposed to be out by now but if you could give me a comment back to let me know would greatly appreciate it thank you
David, the news that we're getting from our Pepsi rep is that each bottler can decide whether they provide to local stores or not. But a vast majority, around 75% of Pepsi bottlers would carry this item and provide for local retailers. We have them at our County Market stores in Illinois and Missouri. for anyone wondering what it tastes like, it tastes exactly like sour gummy worms. its actually crazy how they got it to taste the exact same. its like drinking sour gummy worms. as a mountain dew enthusiast i'd rate at the same level as regular mountain dew.
P.S. my personal favorite mountain dew is mountain voltage it tastes like mountain dew and blue raspberry slushy mixed together.

Its a permanent flavour. Maybe not in everyone's area, but it already is. It has been for about 4yrs now. It's already on eBay in 12pks. I've bought one🤷.

Do you know if Citrus Cherry will be coming to Northern California?
I'd really like to know where you guys got your information about this. Citrus Cherry Game Fuel has actually been around since as early as 2007, when it was released to promote Halo 3. It was brought back multiple times for the Game Fuel promotions over the next several years. It has been a permanent flavor in various areas for years. It's not really a rare flavor, it's readily available in stores in the 20oz bottles and 12 packs of cans, in multiple states. Who told you they were taking the Game Fuel name off it?
Thanks for the feedback. We got a promotional sheet from our local Pepsi sales rep as we normally do on new items coming to our stores in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. According to the information given to us by our manufacturer, the Game Fuel name/label will be removed when the 20 oz. bottles and 12 pack cans arrive in our stores in late October/early November.
