While Canadian-born Alexis Smith (June 8, 1921 - June 9, 1993) is not widely remembered today for her early film career, she appeared in several film noirs, including at Warner Brothers, two of which were alongside Humphrey Bogart. She was certainly a beauty, and a great actress, and she had one of the happiest and longest marriages in Hollywood, to actor Craig Stevens (July 8, 1918 - May 10, 2000). The music is "Minor 9th" by Andrew Hale, from the "L.A. Noire" soundtrack.
    Clips from:
    Conflict (1945)
    The Two Mrs. Carrolls (1946)
    Whiplash (1948)
