That Canon 35mm f2, is a really excellent lens. Since I bought mine, which was made in 1972, it’s been my main lens. I shoot black and white, so the yellow tint is advantageous. I use Canon A1s and T90s.
A thumbs up for your new acquisitions Tony, particularly the X-pro 1. Actually It's a very rewarding camera once you master it's quirks. Would love to see you review it, in your own inimitable way :)
Lol..your'e as bad as me when it comes to collecting Nikons. my collection so far includes a Nikon F,silver, two f2's in silver, though one of them may be getting sold in the near future as I recently bought a black F2, wanted one for a while and couldnt pass up the one I found in my local camera shop with a mint 50mm AI lens. then I have an F3 with motor drive, black...and an F4E. also have an EL Nikkormat in black, and a EL Nikomat in silver, plus a near mint FE in black with motor drive as well.there's also an FT in silver, and FT2 in silver plus my D2X digital cam. there's still more I'd love to get, a nice all black F, plus an earlier 'Nippon Kogaku Tokyo' F. if I ever find a nice motor drive for my F2 for a decent price I'll be snapping that up as well. collecting and using these cams and the lenses I have for them as well is my only hobby apart from collecting affordable antiques and it keeps me out of trouble...lol.
Awesome collection!
Interesting and varied collection of some really fine cameras and lenses.
Love the look of the canon F1.
Film Camera Reviews Thanks Steve! I also received a earlier F-1 the day after this!

Camera Rover Thanks! Yes, I'll probably do a review on the X-Pro 1.
Is there anyway to manually focus vintage lenses using the x-pro1’s glass viewfinder?
No, I don't think there is.
