- Today we play a Labs raid, but I explain everything on the way! This is the next instalment of my trial "teach in" series, where we go through various topics in a more informal way.
In this particular episode we're breaking down a raid where I was looking for the MCC and GPSA on Labs, and get into some PvP on the way. We're using a min/max loud RD704 with a Killa vest, and begin near parking!

Yeah, I like these types of videos best. Raw or live feeds don't offer much in terms of instruction. Well done and thank you. Still trying to get my group to keep their key cards and do Labs
Earlier this wipe I had a raid on shoreline (my second one on the map this wipe in fact, had only done Fishing Gear and Signal 1 before), where to my surprise I completed like 8-10 quests in a single run, can't remember exactly, but it was a lot. Probably the most productive raid of my Tarkov career.
I had been putting off Shoreline for quite some time because I really don't vibe with that map and was already like level 25-30, but I just had to go there to keep progressing.
So I went in with I think 9 markers and 3 jammers, managed to put all of them down, got a lot of scav kills, visited a lot of places, even got into a fight with a duo but decided to disengage after killing one, and got out with like 10 seconds left. I can't 100% remember what all of the quests were, but I'll just name a few that come to mind:
Health Care Privacy 1, Scrap Metal, Anesthesia, Signal 3, Punisher 1, Tarkov Shooter 2, Colleagues, Courtesy Visit. Perhaps a few more.
So - Video idea: What is the maximum number of quests you can theoretically complete in a single raid?
And if it turns out too many, maybe narrow down the scope, for example "What is the maximum number of map-specific quests you can complete in a single raid", or "What is the maximum number of PVE quests you can complete in a single raid" (i.e. exlude the PMC kill ones, because I imagine that inflates the number quite a bit).
And another idea that just came to me while typing this: What is the maximum number of quests you can complete in a single *shot*?

i just bounce between crafting pile of meds, the cheeses, and ifaks. and after like 3 days you end up with a huge stack of ifaks. theyre not crazy better then car kits but they 1 slots and have a bit more heals. theyre also cheap either way if you just want to buy them but i like getting the hideout an crafting xp so it works out.

Did they buff the recoil pad? I swear if was 3% recoil and now it's 5%.
This is my first wipe wanted to ask how do I get in labs just pick the map and it will load me in or will I need a key card the white one you spawn with as a scav sometimes?
any tips for learning maps? I'm familiar with Customs, Woods, Factory however with not playing for a few wipes, the introduction of Lighthouse and Streets has passed me by and just seems way too intimidating to even try to come back to and play
I scav so much on lighthouse i know it like the back of my hand. You don’t really lose anything if you die except your time
just scav into a map you wanna learn and mess around. lighthouse is fun to farm rogues
Offline mode (extracts, pathing) -> scav looting/exploring -> PMC questing -> PMC PvP
Hey love your videos, and i was wondering since i haven’t seen any videos from anyone on it if you could test out how additional armor on helmets works like the SLAAP, the Bastion cover or having chops and a face shield on an airframe would love to understand how that stuff works❤
I did one a while ago looking at ricochet on overlaps that didn't seem to help (glasses + fs) but haven't check something like the slaap - good idea!
@@Gigabeef i meant something around pen like does having a lvl 4 plate on the cayman make it a lvl5 helmet or is it more like 4.5, anyways thanks for considering this as a future video

do you load your mags 15 /15 ? or 1 bs and then on ps and back and fort?
15/15. I want to use all BP in theory, but accessibility means we need to spread it out, and the final 15 are the least used, naturally :)

I've just been running PS in the RD while I farm streets, its a pretty good ammo even this late into wipe tbh
Since class 5/6 armour is so locked off (relatively speaking, the zabralo costs less than the slick did when it was on flea, but is heavy) even high levels run lower gear. I use the Banshee a lot even at lvl 60, and regularly kill > lvl 50 players with Korund's/TV-110, both of which get shreded quickly with 7.62 PS

I love how a weapons testing room has regular non bullet proof walls and glass. Like what is the point of it.

5:45 I once got 1 shotted by FMJ to the top of the head through full durability class 4, guess I got unlucky with the fragmentation
the firing at 12min probaply just was at you through the lift. (you can see down to where you ran along)
04:12 I think reloading i the safest if you are in cover.. not on the way for it. personal prefference tho ^^
I’ve never been more frustrated in tarkov than searching for the GPSA and the current converter at labs. I’ve pretty much gave up looking at this point
@@mouthwash884 lol damn. I never played labs before this wipe but I found the gpsa after maybe 10 raids and I’m at like maybe 40 raids now and have only found 1 current converter that I died with.
The aluminum mags from prapor are better than the ultimags in every way my dude
I got one shot through a TC-2001 helmet on reserve by fmj sx yesterday, so it’s definitely possible

I never mix ammo. I use different magazines to indicate what ammo is in it. High quality magazines have high quality ammo, low quality magazines have basic ammo.

A good video for some people, however you kind of fill it with a lot of useless information sometimes, for example what ammo the mp7 guy was using, what ammo he’s using does not matter and nobody would ever find what ammo he’s using valuable information. Only time I think about what ammo someone’s using is if it’s leg meta/a strong round but with a gun like an mp7 it really doesn’t matter the ammo.
Eh just think it's interesting as it shows people using different ammo etc, get a read on what others think is good
Never understood why ppl would loot of spawn on labs. Its litteraly the closes CQB map besides factory. Whats the point of looting if have a chance of dying in the next few minutes?
Most ppl on that map chases down spawns etc anyway.

Lots of high level dudes on labs just use shattered mask + class 4. old meta, the theory is everyone uses high pen so armor doesn't matter - I disagree personally but that's the reason
one thing about labs is tier 4 and 5 is basically useless even the good ones like Killa armor, so you can just use whatever tier 4-5 armor that you don't wanna use in other maps

Since good ammo is harder to come across, you’ll mostly run into ammo like m855a1/m856a1, 7.62 BP, and SP-6, tier 5 helps a ton against those rounds

@@realtic6452 SP6 and 7.62 BP absolutely shred level 5 lmao what. especially SP6 because it's literally BP but at 900 RPM. I wouldn't say armor is useless for Labs, but it's more so for raiders not PMCs.
the ammo people use on Labs ignores armor completely due to the combination of the RPM of their guns. the best armor for Labs probably IS the Killa armor.
all level 6 is dogshit I don't care what anyone says, even the ones that cover your stomach like the shitty ass Zabralo. Level 6 is just not worth buying, use it if you find it that's it.

@@sthlmfps his reasoning is bad though, while the difference isn’t huge he is downplaying it a lot, and he has the money to be using better gear yet he just refuses to use better stuff, if you are going to spend the money on an expensive gun and ammo like the RD and BP then why are you saving pennies on the stock just go all out
@@hayden82724 bro i got like 60mil in the stash and i occasionally use the buttpad with the wooden stock, it's almost got the same stats and it's not noticeable. you do realize you don't have to have meta attachments to kill, right? :P
