1997 Yamaha Venture 500...Fixing up for a buddy

Yeah, my buddy is new to sledding and found this old gem last spring. I went with him to look at it, and he made an offer. The sled was frozen solid in 4" of ice, and wouldn't start without dumping fresh fuel into carbs. A few months later he picked it up, and I offered to help look it over, change what it needed and get him going. So, here it is November, parts are coming in, and this ol gal should be ready to roll once the white gold starts flyin.
