    Top notch rebuild! I am looking into getting into rebuilding trailers. Just something to do on the weekends away from web development. I want to learn new skills.

    Bushings was one area you cheeped out on and it does come back to you if you use this trailer a lot. You put the nylon bushings in and iv done that as well nice quite ride but they wear through. For not that much more you can get bronze bushings and what a difference that made for me. 2004 trailer I did them once with nylons around 2010 and once with bronze around 2013 never had to touch them again.

      Thank you sir! With the Blackwood lumber, you wouldn't need to do anything like that! The rubber layer does a great job with traction, it's pretty cool stuff!

    Hey I live in Caddo Mill, few miles for you and I have weird small trailer that I love more than anything because it served me good working on some really tough jobs, do you what to look at it for laughs, it’s foldable and everywhere I go people have a crack at it. I want to know it it’s possible to restore it and make it really cool and seriously durable.
    Anyways, great show

      It's actually called a stake pocket spare tire mount! It drops right into the stake pocket and is bolted in.

    Hey man I just picked a used car trailer and the trailer tire have some camber while hard turning on uneven terrain with a load. Is this “normal” for a tandem axle? Or are my axles bent? Otherwise the tire drive straight down the road with and without a load. Any help would be appreciated.

    • @HappyTrailerSales
      @HappyTrailerSales  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Hey sir! You'll always notice some camber while you're turning or going over terrain, that's just the suspension doing its job. If you start noticing tire wear on the inside of your tires, that's a sign of a bent axle. Also, if the tire is cambered without a load, that means the axle is bent. I hope this helps!

    No way I'd spend that on an old trailer, I bought a brand new 22ft 14k trailer, led lights, steel floor, bulldog hitch, elec brakes, 12k winch with remote for $3,000
