Dan describes Fearless as being a symphonic power metal band. The guy in the white shirt is Dan’s brother Davi. Fabio was lead singer of Rhapsody of Fire an Italian metal band for twenty years and is one of Dan’s idols. He actually collaborated with the actor Christopher Lee (Dracula) to do a metal album. Fabio also worked with Lee on songs for his role in The Hobbit and Lord of The Rings. Dan was going to collab with them but Lee passed away before they could get together.
Fabio was on tour in Brazil with Angra and met with Dan to do this in Dan’s garage studio. Glad you liked it!

Fabio Lione, is an Italian singer who has worked with many bands in the metal genre. He was known for being the singer of Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody of Fire for 21 years. He is the current lead vocalist of Angra, brazilian band. tks

I love this. Dan looks so happy, and is so respectful and deferential to Fabio. I get the impression that it was put together very quickly, and that Fabio could spare only a few hours. As usual, Dan directed and edited the video. And great band, isn’t it? Gabriel (on guitar) plays on quite a few of Dan’s videos, and brother Davi (bass) and Giovanni (drums) show up from time to time. Gabriel is also half of Spyglass Inn, an acoustic project with Dan that unfortunately seems to have petered out. A Tale with No End is the only cut from the Fearless album with a video. Recommended!
This performance with Fabio Lione is one of the highlights of Dan's career. To sing with your musical idol had to be like a dream come true. Thanks so much for featuring this one and I do hope you will check out Dan and Fearless in the Tale With No End, where Dan sings his original song.
The way Dan knows a song inside out & backwards, surely gave Fabio respect & confidence to perform together. Plus, knowing Dan is always the gent in duets, Fabio didn't have to stress about who was "leading". Just my opinions, but i bet im nailing it.

An absolute brilliant performance!❤❤ Without sounding repetitive😉as it may already have been mentioned, Fabio is one of Dan's mentors whom he greatly admired. Fabio was previously with the band "Rhapsody of Fire". At some stage while touring Brazil, Fabio agreed to go to Dan's studio to record this - a HUGE highlight and privilege in Dan's life. Dan's band "Fearless" is top tier, I just love them. They have an album called "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom". They also have a song, "A Tale With No End". Glad that you enjoyed this and hoping for more Dan reactions, thankyou😃

You'll have the opportunity to see Fabio Live with Angra in the US Joel, they'll be there touring the new album at 70000 Tons of metal.
Fabio is one of the 8 singers Dan mentioned as his main influences in a video a long time ago. He has another mike at least, but it was better this way. This was very much a rush job, Fabio just took a bit while Angra was in Dan's town. However, Dan can sound so much like young Fabio it's uncanny!
Fabio was the original lead singer for Rhapsody/Rhapsody of Fire and one of Dan's heroes. Davi(bass and Dan's brother), Gabriel (guitar and Dan's friend), and Gio's (drums and another Dan friend) as well. He was on tour in Brazil and kindly agreed to do this video with Dan and the guys(aka Fearless) in Dan's garage studio. They all sound great together!

Fearless has an album called Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom and its an awesome listening experience. On Dans CZcams channel he has a Fearless playlist with the Dawn of Victory as well as a couple of others. There is Tale With No End (video) and Behold my Land (lyric video). Epic songs! The whole album tells a story start to finish and it’s well worth checking out. Thanks for doing a reaction to Dan Vasc…he is ALWAYS on my playlist!

Great Reaction to a phenomenal band
I heard that Fabio had only an hour total to be at Dan’s place (not including travel time) because he had to go do his concert and that’s all the time he could spare, so they just made it work as best as they could. Dan said they got a picture of them on the couch as if the two of them were enjoying a nice conversation, but in reality there was no time for chatting.
Fabio Lione is one of Dan's influences growing up.

Did you realize that your opening screen has SERGIO LIONE splashed across it? If it HAD been Sergio, the last name would have been wrong, because Sergio's last name is LEONE. Since it's actually Fabio Lione (as your title, above, correctly spells out), your opening screen would have been correct as far as the last name is concerned, but then...yeah...wrong first name. Just curious...maybe you just wanted to see if anyone was paying attention?
Fabio was one of Dan's favorite singers to hear and observe, when he was six years younger than he was in 2022 when he recorded THIS one (he just turned 34 on 10/10/2023, by the way), and still learning how to "do" metal the way he wanted to. It was REALLY a special thing for him, when Fabio (who was on tour in Brazil at the time) consented to come to Dan's newer studio, to sing this favorite song with Dan and the band.
Dan has his earlier version of this song on his channel, too...a bit different, but you can see how closely he copied Fabio, even back then (six years ago, in his older studio in his house).
Fabio (who is Italian) used to be the lead singer in Rhapsody of Fire. Now he has his own band [just] Rhapsody, plus he's the lead singer with Angra. He currently is touring (with both bands) in Mexico, right now. He's been putting up short reports on Facebook. He plans to be back in Brazil before the summer is over. I'm betting he and Dan will get together again.
So...did you check out Gio on the drums, after reacting to "My Heart Will Go On?" What did you think about the idea that Dan may have at least used some of THIS sound track to dub in for THAT one?

Davi always wears a white shirt in everyday life. It’s just his thing. If it gets cold he’ll throw on a plaid flannel over top. I’m subscribed to his CZcams channel as well as Dan’s…Davi composes music for video games and reacts to other video game music. His insights are remarkable and I always learn something new about music that I hadn’t picked up on before.
5:35 I think he’s shaking the sweat out of his eyes here, he’s playing so hard and fast. Both hands are busy, so what’s a guy to do?
I watch Davi's channels, also, when I have the time. I LOVE his musicanship. I recently purchased his Coromon OST (both versions...his original, plus the piano player one, just because I like to hear the wonderful track, with the little differences because of the actual piano version.
