I think this tempo is Dan's brain. If you've ever watched a pod cast, he's the one that's always moving even when he's sitting. He said having Fabio actually in his recording studio was such an honor. All of them just move as one entity. Amazing moment! Yep we're here, Bill. We always support him. Needless to say, this was s huge highlight in Dan's life! For Fabio to come to Dan's studio while on tour in Brazil, was a privilege bar none. "Fearless" is💥💥.They're all childhood friends and as has been mentioned, Davi, in the white shirt, is Dan's brother. This song is so powerful and uplifting. Hey! I'm the mother-in-law who would be bringing that ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL BATTLE MUSIC with me when I arrived. Actually, my husband and I live with our youngest daughter, her husband, and their eight children--all of whom are metalized.
When my son-in-law was "courting" my daughter, we discussed a lot of things during times when she was getting ready to go wherever it was they were going out to on any given evening. One of those things was how much he LOVED (and still does) PETRA. When we moved from Washington State over here to South Dakota (all of us in an automobile and moving truck caravan) in 2009, the very first thing he made sure he had with him in the truck HE was driving, was his Petra music.
My daughter used to laugh and tell others that she was SURE her mom had fallen in love with her husband-to-be, before she had. I'd say she was correct, and mostly it was because of his faith in God and his taste in music. 😀

I knew you would like Fearless! Dan calls them a Symphonic Power Metal Band. Fabio Lione worked with the actor Christopher Lee (Dracula) on Metal songs for an album they did and also songs for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Dan was going to put something together with them but unfortunately Lee passed away. Dan calls Fabio his mentor and inspiration. I love that this is from Dan’s garage studio. See you on the next one! Yes...Davi tells, on his Game Music Composing CZcams channel, about Christopher Lee, who had consented to work with them on the "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom." I believe Davi said that Christopher was going to read the prologue. Then he passed away before the collab could be done.

Yes! So much fun, there. However, they were remote, as have been most of (all, I think) the other collabs he has done, even when he was singing with Orion's Reign. Then Fabio was on tour in Brazil, and actually went to the very new Dan Vasc studio to do this collab. I can just imagine how absolutely blown away Dan was, when that consent was received from Fabio! WOW! 😀

Thanks for another great reaction to Dan Vasc. Dan and his band have a 4 song album called Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom, written by Dan. The first song and only one that is in a video you can watch is A Tale With No End. It is wonderful and shows off Dan's writing and singing skills, and his band is wonderful, too. I hope you get a chance to watch it. It doesn't get enough play. Looking forward to more.

The album Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom has 12 tracks (which includes the wonderful prologue). Five of the songs are totally scripture-based, and it's really fun to look for the correct scriptures as you hear the songs being sung. The other seven tracks round out the story of the entire album, in a Tolkien-ish manner. Fantastic music all the way around! 😀

I started out to say, "Uncle Bill, you're wrong..." when you mentioned that you did know that musicians are the entire Fearless Band. Currently, their album "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom is listed with all of the music purveyors, plus a second one is somewhere in the approvals chain, from what we've heard.
As far as this song is concerned, another REALLY fun thing about it, is that this was done shortly after Dan got his new studio (in his garage) completed. Plus Fabio (who was on tour in Brazil at the time, I believe) actually came TO the studio, and was right there in the same room with Dan, Gabriel, Giovanni, and Davi (who is Dan's younger brother, by two years--he's wearing the white shirt in this video). He's the one who wrote most of the music for "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom," while Dan wrote all of the lyrics (or at least most of them).
Both Gio and Davi have CZcams gaming channels, plus Davi has a very special channel ABOUT gaming (and game music), where people send him videos of game play-throughs, which he LISTENS to while the videos play, but does not WATCH, until afterward, because he is "guessing" what is happening in the videos, as the game music plays. He also writes gaming music as part of his own business, and he is known around the world for his expertise. I recently bought (from Bandcamp) his OST for the game Coromon, and it is simply BEAUTIFUL music. Davi has a HUGE knowledge of music theory, which I very greatly admire. Gabriel has his own channel now, too (just search for his name and you'll find him). He's done some terrific music there!
As for Fabio, he was the singer of Rhapsody of Fire for 21 years (WOW!). It was after that, that he and Luca Turilli created their own band (Turilli/Lione Rhapsody). This song "Dawn of Victory" is the name of their first album, and the song was written by Alex Staropoli (who also was a member of Rhapsody of Fire).
Currently, Fabio is the lead vocalist for Angra, plus he was the original singer of Labyrinth and Vision Divine. So...I guess we could just say, "Wow! He's been around, hasn't he?!" Plus, I have a feeling he will still be, for a long time to come! He's still singing WONDERFULLY! 😀

Speaking of that type of thing, and the date of that comment, I would love it if you would react to Dan's fabulous rendition of the U.S.A. National Anthem "The Star Spangled Banner."
Along the same lines of what happened when Fabio joined him for "Dawn of Victory," Dan ended up, just a short time after he sang the anthem, issuing (ahem) "An Apology," which you should watch AFTER you watch "The Star Spangled Banner." The "apology" is very short. I think you will LOVE it. Remember the comment above...and don't judge it before the end, please. 😀
Fabio Leone with Dan and his band Fearless. They consist of Davi Vasc, Gabriel Belozi both on guitars and the drummer Giovanni Rezende. So much talent in this. Incredible. Bill, the story of Rhapsody goes like this: it has gone by that name since at least the first demo, though it was called Thundercross for a while before, they then changed their name to Rhapsody of Fire because a scummy online music service was using that same name and the litigation to defend the rights to the name would have bankrupted them.
However, a couple of years later, Luca Turilli, the lead guitarist and lead composer, left. After him, the original band members all left one after another, except the keyboardist and other main composer, Alex Staropoli. He's kept the band going with another formation. A lot of fans get confused and think the name change and the breakup are related, but they aren't.
Today, there are two Rhapsodies, the Rhapsody of Fire and the Turilli/Lione Rhapsody, because Luca put the band back together as he went on with his solo records, so in Zero Gravity it's all the old members minus Alex again. The music is different, not power metal, but a metal based (very metal based) fusion of metal, classical and world music. Incredibly cool.

But Upchurch is an old homeboy. He's an independent CZcamsr like Mr. Vasc. He don't pull any punches and he is absolutely genuine. And he don't give a flying f*** what he says. LOL!
