Juneteenth is celebrated just like the 4th of July. I am glad that grandma knows the history. Ribs, collard greens made with smoke turkey (crock pot), baked or grilled sweet potatoes, potato salad...black eyed peas and rice are delicious. Hoppin John over rice, you can find the cans in the grocery stores.
Oh now I want sweet potatoes. Might need to go back to the store.😂

Keep the cookware! You will regret it if you don’t! I know you’re worried about the kids dropping them and tenting them. These pots would take an awful lot of force for them to be dented. It’s not a matter of a child just dropping it and then it denting I know you haven’t heard of all clad, but it is used internationally by professionals all over the world.

Hey big big big fan I watch ur videos everyday and I’m in middle of watching this one and in all of ur videos I see the laundry baskets with different color tapes may I ask what that is for it catches my eye every time.
The best part is Josh showing the salt like the Influencer’s! I feel you on menu planning 🤦🏼♀️ no one wants to help! Love the idea of make your own pizza it’s been years since we’ve don’t that. Where do you find your pizza crusts i couldn’t find any at Costco, wal mart or smart and final! Love Nana and papa they seem so helpful and enjoy spending time with the kids
The Kontos I get at wegmans but I just looked and Amazon has them in bulk so I think I’ll buy that and freeze them. They really are the best for pizza night! It’s $41 and change but that’s for a 12 pack so still works out to a comparable price to in-store.
What card game are they playing at the table while you are doing the menu? It looks like one I used to play with my gram. ❤

I live in Quebec Canada where there are over 300 fires burning. I have COPD and am keeping in the house as the air quality is poor. I have had a headache most days since the fires started. I hope you are all feeling better soon.

I know the holiday has passed but black eyed peas, cornbread with bacon and jalapenos mixed in, collard greens with ham hocks, fried chicken, Mac and cheese is what we did.
The original Lindsay brand olives used to be manufactured in Lindsay, CA near where we live. The original olive plant has been closed down for many years though.

Apples and honey are main crop here in Central NY! I'm not sure why people get upset that we use apple sauce or even salt potatoes as side dishes!
For crockpot one night u can make open face roast beef sandwiches.....cook roast in crockpot with 3 packages of brown gravy and 2 cups water per roast cook 8 hrs .....then shred...... cook mashed potatoes.......take some bread put on bottom the place potatoes on top of bread and then shredded roast and gravy on top😋😋😋😋
Putting there clothes for the week in the little drawers is a great idea !

Why not make a printed list of all the products you use including bathroom laundry etc ALSO with an area for hand writing special foods for round the world food etc with check boxes then laminate it.
Then all you need to do is tick the boxes of what you need each week.
Saves on a lot of writing.
Only a thought.

I searched for new pots and pans for years. I finally bought a set of hammered copper looking on the outside from Amazon. I bought them for our motor coach. But I love them so much I have brought then in my house.

Collard greens are actually made with ham hocks but bacon is a good substitute.
You can do smothered pork chops, fried chicken, dirty rice, red beans and rice, ribs, Mac and cheese, corn bread, shrimp and grits. I’m getting hungry writing this. Lol

Hi there, I've been watching you with your family for a while now and I don't know how you cope with all the running around and just remembering which child has to be where. You are amazing. Just one question, I see you have a dishwasher which you never seem to use and you always take the washing to the laundry. Why is that. Just heard you talking about the "sniff test" I feel your pain lol😂
Truthfully washing dishes by hand faster. I prefer it myself.

I made those exact same marinara chicken subs. Ours came out a little too soupy. Flavor wise it was delicious. I think the sauce I used was too thin. Hope yours work lot better!

You could do bagel or English muffin pizzas. Also French fries, corn on the cob or loaded tater tots for a side. Do your kids like baked potatoes? If they do you can do a baked potato bar.

There are stamps that you can label the kids name or just write their names on the tags of the clothes. I used to do that for my kids daycare before I got the stamp with their name. The stamp works great and doesn’t bleed through.
