If I leave my older kids for second while I’m upstairs, they are fighting like cat and dog! Wish mine would quietly read like that 😩

I have ONLY one 8 month old baby and my life is a roller coster ride. HOW do you seem to be so Calm and Patient!?
I can understand you so well! It was so overwhelming with my first, a little better but still very hard having two and now we are about to have our third child and I feel so much more at peace about the chaos, daily chores of a wife; learned to deal with and enjoy kids over time better. I am not at the Jordan's level yet (admiring her ability to juggle so many tasks at the same!), but defintely I can see the improvement in so many areas of life after 4 years of motherhood. :) I believe that it will get even better over time, tiny step at a time. Jordan's example is really encouraging what time and experience can lead to. From her older videos and blog posts sounds like she was through a lot of hardships too.

I can honestly tell you it gets so much easier with 3+ kids. Under 3 was the hardest, personally.

Could you do a video on discipline. Like how you got your kids to be so cooperative? It seems like they respect your authority as a parent but there's a lot of warmth and love there too. Sometimes I feel like we (and a lot of parents we know) have a hard time finding that balance

I love how you have trained the kids to help. You do have an amazingly busy schedule but I believe that by having the kids so active it helps them know what is next in there day. Also I think that the flexibility you allow shows them not to have a meltdown if plans change and that they can basically make a fun day out of any circumstances good or bad. Good on you girl! @@seemaraniga4113 my oldest is six and she really helps and I think it’s so good for independence and all she even offers what she can do to help! She matured so much since I had my third when she was only 4.5
When I was a kid my grandmother would let the dog in after dinner and say "the sweeper is working"!
My brothers best friend growing up was from a fam of 10, (wonderful people), & my bro was always invited over for whatever they were doing. They said when you have that many, a couple extras blend right in 🤣🤣 God Bless you all.. I can't imagine!
When I had two kids I figured that out when I would babysit for other families. The key to remember is the “new” kids are giving your kids someone new to play with so it’s usually louder but less demanding/less fighting for me.
I would love to see a day in the life outside the house. How do you keep track of all your kids when out and about?
Maybe when they were toddlers she doesn’t hover around at the park and that’s what tone their trust muscles?
My aunt and 7 - she'd dress them and me too if I was with them in the same color to help with that?
Depends what you mean out and about? They just had the twins but before that there was just one baby and then usually a big kid holds a little kids hand. When you have a lot of kids you need to make sure at 3/4 yrs old they hold the stroller or someone's hand. If she had a double stroller before the twins all the kids would be old enough to stay together. Right now she could use a triple or her husband goes on the outing and then it's easy peasy.

I don’t mean for a walk. They are all contained to a stroller. I mean to the trampoline park or splash pad. Where they are all running in opposite directions.
Wanna know a secret? I sometimes sleep in (clean) workout clothes to make sure I can literally roll out of bed and get to it in the morning.
Yes. Sometimes I sleep in leggings and then shower and change after my work out.

I do the same thing! It is so much easier sleeping in clean workout clothes and it is the first thing you do and is pretty much a guarantee you will do it. 😊

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with just my 18 month old and being 29 weeks pregnant and then I watch one of your videos and it just motivates me and inspires me, that I can get through the day!! #supermoms

I was babysitting/covering 3 weeks of daycare closures in Germany and am prepared to do so again but hope it won't become necessary again thanks to ever improving routines and reactions.

I would love to see more videos like this. Our life is pretty messy right now, with all the problems, trying to keep up with jobs and balance family and personal is very hard. These kind of videos with routines and days in the life are very helpful and calm
Mom of 6 been there!!! 2 left at home and we are home free!!! I enjoyed raising my kids and never even thought about what its gonna be like to have them grown and gone and I am at that stage now and looking forward to peaceful home but also grandkids in the new few years. Im 41 and had my kids really young. Gonna be interesting to not be running around forsure!!!

Hi Jordan, just wanted to say a big thank you for sharing your clip board system a while back. It totally kept the kids from driving me crazy this summer. My kids actually like structure even if they will not admit it. Since the kids are older my husband and I talked with each of our kids what they were wanting from the summer and combined a reasonable balance with what we, as parents, wanted for them. Instead of saying "chore sticks" I call them "Helping Sticks" and my kids draw four sticks and pick two that they are willing to do. Of course I made sure that there was exactly 2 sticks for each child to do for the whole week day. Saturdays they have separate things to get done from the week day and Sunday they take off. I also do clipboard system on myself. That also includes doing two helping sticks. With the helping sticks I have been putting task that are chores or cleaning that I don't normally do on a regular routine of each day. I try to keep things simple so that I will actually do them. For example: clean my bedroom windows instead of all the windows in the whole house or clean out my junk drawer instead of the whole kitchen etc. Helping sticks for me is new. I am slowly trying to make my sticks cover spring cleaning the whole house. I am hoping that the helping sticks encourages me to take care of my house without feeling overwhelmed by it all. So far it is working. I just want to say thank you again for sharing your tricks and that I am using them and expanding the idea too. God bless you.

Great ideas! We use some combination of things like this for our 5. I’ll have to recommend some of this tips for the families I see. The goal of building flexibility into any schedule plan is so crucial to avoid the emotional toll of not getting it ALL done. Great job!
