I remember when I discovered this album and that it annoyed me that it didn't officially credit anyone else that played on it besides the keyboardist and drummer. The bass parts on tracks like this one and Strings of Light basically drive the whole thing. The track is called "Lowrider" for god's sake lol
I first heard Klaus Veen's house version of this song (huge Klaus Veen fan), then coincidentally my friend recommends Black Focus to me because I like jazz fusion. I listen to the album and lo and behold, it's Lowrider!! I will say, I like Klaus Veen's melody more than the one on this recording. Both serve their own vibes though of course.
Homie if you can’t dance your ass off to this as well then your rave journey taught you very little. Best believe that all of your favprite sonic architects, the ones that made you move in the boundless flow are still blasting this album nearly 3 years later.
So far up my street that it's practically in my front room, admiring the decor and commenting on my dvd collection.

not sure if Rocco Palladino or Tom Minsch did the bass part on this song. I know Rocco performs with him a lot and did the bassline for some of them
Kareem Dayes (Yussef Dayes' brother) and Tom Driessler on bass. Not sure which tracks though.
@@leonstanable Tom Minsch wasnt with them
Mansur Brown on guitar

I don´t think it´s that Jamiroquai-ish ... It´s more like Kaidi Tatham, Nick Van Gelder kind of sound ...
Joshua Garden It definitely has Jamiroquai in there
.75 speed works pretty damn well
would be nice if it wouldn't warp the snare so much
grove shyt
reminds me of Jamiroquai...
