Superb effort and a well-done video. Have I missed Minneriya, Manampitiya, Plonnaruwa/Kaduruwela, or have you forgotten to mention these places? I did not see you mention those places after Galoya Junction that I eagerly expected to see. Anyway thanks for the video.
An excellent capture. It was surreal with beautiful panned out views, and the M2 beat in the background. Very good audio as well, and I thought I heard a random peacock scream @ 37:40 min. BTW, what was the reason for the stop in the middle of nowhere around 35 min ? Watched again on the tele with headphones to make the experience truly surreal. Thank you very much for the upload!
Good photography and filming. Needs supporting stakeholders participation to make this episode lovely journey. So add Station master, Engine drivers, guards and commuters make savvy. Also spend little time at the engine. Guard room to make your story live.

Good videography only lacking is you have to speak to the audience watching your video. To get acquainted you have to watch Vlogs Train Traveller by Kumar in South India. You have to say the cost of ticket from Colombo to Batticaloa, travel time departure and arrival. What type of locomotive origin country. The facilities in the compartment and class of service and buffet car. Stations that it stopped on your way or atleast show the station board. State about oncoming passing trains from where to where. Report something about maho junction which is seperation from northern bound to eastern bound and also Gal Oya station for seperating compartments to Trincomalee. These will make interesting to onlookers. You captured very good scenery from the cab and have room for you to improve more. Great job and do more. Good luck.
