මම කුරුණෑගල....! මම කුරුණෑගලත් කොළඹ කොටුව අතරත් මෙම දුම්රියේ කිහිපවතාවක්ම ගිහින් තියනවා. මේ vedio එක වෙනුවෛන් හරියට මහන්සිවෙලා තියනනවා. දුම්රිය සම්බන්දව මම බලපු තවත් ලස්සන vedio එකක්.....! සියලු දෙනාටම ගොඩාක් ස්තූතීයි.....! ....තෙරුවන් සරණයි....!!

I got in this locomotive once from shed and watched all the startup processes and was inside the locomotive from the shed till coupling to other compartments, since my relation was an assistant engine driver in this train service

PS. Even Canada I have never seen these big giants even at Vancouver. Thanks to Truedau giving these engines under Colombo plan friendship program. If that happened now lot of commissions have passed among politicians. Thats why we not getting anything

After travelling on many train lines in SRI LANKA I was very impressed with the efficency and clensiness of the carriages in 2019. Some seating was a bit hard for 6 hour trips but the scenery made sure you never got bored.It was nice to get short eats from the many vendors who got on and off on the trains.In 2019 the toilet facilities were in need of upgrading for what western travellers are used to. But overall it was a great experience ..

Initially Class M2c 626 (Vancouver) and M2c 629 ( Montreal) were mostly to the up country run because of a different types of breaks good for mountain's climb. Now these ENGINES lost it's high power due to many years of services, but still in good condition.

1 compartment . Yes those other berths are always reserved for railway officials .but you can book them too if you have a relative or a freind in cgr.
