@@MrNecryptic Because a few years ago, the band asked for a lot of donations so they could release music that lived up to our and their expectation. It's been now 10 years since that, and I think the band managed to raise like 300k? Don't hang me up on the number, but ever since, theres been noting new or interesting. We recently got a shitty short instrumental, from a band who is know for hard, long melodic well ritten melodies.. Most people got impatent with them, and alot of people felt scammed.

As for why: Jari's vocals are a bit more of a scream rather than deeper growl, I think most metal heads avoid the higher black metal singing The songs are very long. First album had shorter songs but most songs average like 8-12 minutes on the most recent albums. Much like the dipshit I'm replying to, most metal heads don't really enjoy symphonics, and honestly don't have an ear for more than "guitar heavy, guy go growl me bang head". I'm guessing they think it makes them feel like a pussy or something like that. The largest reason? They release almost no music. If they regularly released albums then they would probably be a lot more popular
@@danielnielsen6900It's worth checking out a video Jari made recently where he explained where the money from that fundraiser went and cleared up a lot of stuff that, quite frankly, he would have benefitted from clearing up waaaayy sooner. He sat there and took all the abuse for 6 years when really there was another side to the story. And now the guy's dropping 6 albums worth of material on us for the same cost as the Forest Seasons bundle, so honestly, I'm really really excited and am willing to give Jari the benefit of the doubt. But the question still remains... why are these guys still so slept on? The crowdfunding drama isn't what you'd find straight away until you did some digging, and yet the music isn't as widespread as it could be? Even before the crowdfunder, they were very underrated! I hope Time II gives them an explosion of relevancy again and more people become fans of the older stuff we've all loved for a long long time.
