I honestly think because it was directed by a woman that it allowed the Marcia and Jan roles to be so funny. They’re dynamic is definitely the highlight of the movie
Especially since the station wagon has an eight track player! I'm still laughing at while the modern car was blasting hip hop music the station wagon was blasting Davy Jones down the road!😂
It reminds of a woman on a reality show where she lives and dresses like the 1950s( even listens to only 1950s music) while the rest of the world are in the 2010s.
@@melissacooper4282 I know a family who lives in the 50’s. Drive cars from that era and their home also has appliances from era. Dress like that too. Ironically, both work in IT.
The best line of the movie was when Sam came out of Alice’s bedroom and, when Mike saw him asked: Sam what are you doing here? Sam’s response: oh, I was just....delivering some meat.
I liked how this movie was a satire! My favorite scenes where when Marcia got Davy Jones to sing at the school dance! I thought it was funny that only Marcia's teachers were swooning over him while the kids never even heard of him! Also I liked the scene where the Bradys were in a contest and they won because the judges were The Monkees!
The movie was a riot, there is a part of me that wonders what they could’ve done or what they would’ve done if they had taken it all the way to an R rating.
What made this movie work with the fact that it was in on the joke of how horrible the show was. They poked fun at the fact that show was so disconnected from reality. The thing is, the show was outdated even for its time; this was when we were seeing shows like Sanford and Son and All in the Family. The Brady Bunch was more like Ozzie and Harriet; they had little to no connection to the post-Vietnam world.
Today is the 1 *year* anniversary of when you uploaded "The Brady Bunch Funny Moments". 🤓 EDIT- 9:34 P.M.: *finishes video 7 minutes later* This video definitely lived up to its title! 😂
As a kid I didn't realise this wasn't just part of the old show (I'd never seen it and hadn't heard anyone talk about it either). It's only as a young adult that I learned it's a sort of parody. I tried watching a few episodes of the show after that and damn I couldn't do it lol sorry we all have different tastes. I just found it painful and dull. If you enjoy it though go for it
Fun Facts: The Brady Bunch movie is closer to the actual show than it is to today (2019). So the movie is more quaint than the show it parodies, relatively speaking.
Poor Marcia, with that nose she can never show her face in sküle again!
*MARCIA MARCIA MARCIA*

MissyB 75 Thx lol
Damn
You stole my joke
this is a movie that on paper sounds like it won't work but once you see it in action you're shocked that it works so well.
I honestly think because it was directed by a woman that it allowed the Marcia and Jan roles to be so funny. They’re dynamic is definitely the highlight of the movie
And somehow the sequel is just as good, it's crazy
And you can love the show and the movie but it homages and pokes fun of it so well.
Love this movie! Marcia is savage. Jans struggle is real.
Jan you don't have any friends
“But Jan you don’t have any friends” 😂😂😂😂
Not a nice line
Bullfish
you must be really desperate to want to carjack a 70s station wagon lol.
😂😂😂😂👍
Especially since the station wagon has an eight track player! I'm still laughing at while the modern car was blasting hip hop music the station wagon was blasting Davy Jones down the road!😂
Hollywood exec#1: "How do we update the Brady Bunch to appeal to a modern 90's audience?"
Hollywood exec#2: "We don't."
Undead Nightorc Like the Brady bunch just as it was. Glad they decided to keep it so seventies, while the rest of the world kept moving forward.

Or in the second one when he was thoughtful enough to offer Alice a tube steak
I love how they made Jan batshit crazy in this movie
The writers were genius to take them like a time warp into 90s morality America, total genius
Marcia: What’s the point of living I might as well die!!
Me and Jan at the same time: *smile*
The Man With The Crystal Eyes I would be excited to get cosmetic surgery to fix my nose…Yea. I’m vain!
The actresses playing Jan, Marcia, and Alice look identical to the original actresses
Love how bobby knows all about law stuff and now the actor plays a detective on Chicago pd 😂
Hahah I that's what I thought
This movie is a meme goldmine 💰💰💰💰

Yes, when they win with that dopey 60's dance routine, then you see the judges - I choked with laughter!
“It’s me, the new Jan Brady! Let’s knock over a 7-11!” Kanduwbxbagah
"Clowns never laughed before, beanstalks never grew...."🎸🎶
This and The Adams Family were the best comedies inspired by old tv shows
Greg was toasted in that last clip!🤣
I loved how the some of the original cast members had cameos.
“Next Christmas you tell your daddy I’d be more than happy to wrap his package” 😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣
🎶👨🎤clowns never laughed before , beanstalks never grew, ponies never ran before till I met you 🎶
The movie was a riot, there is a part of me that wonders what they could’ve done or what they would’ve done if they had taken it all the way to an R rating.
"I want to sing this song to the GROOVIEST CHICK in school"!!!! Then all the girls start running!!!! OH MY GOSH, HYSTERICAL!!!!!
This movie was (to me) a prophetic portrayal of what America was, and what America is becoming.
Dad! There's a Brady in our yard!!
Why does she pronounce it "Sküle"
It’s a joke about how Maureen McCormick (The original Marcia) would pronounce it funny in the original 70s show.
@@caitybelle16 ooooh, that makes sense
Best way to put it ... if you or I had our noses swollen and sore as can be, we'd be talking kinda funny too, get it
@@caitybelle16 I think Cartman says it like this in south park too oddly enough
it's written like that in the script
Jan on a bicycle is just like me
Just watched this movie last week and I must say I enjoyed it so much more than I did when I saw it in the 90’s, a very funny film indeed.
I always loved that floating staircase.
She’s pronounces school the same as Cartman. SKUUUUUULEEEEE🤣
I want my cheesy poofs!
Fun Fact: Olivia Hack (Cindy) provides the voice of Rhonda Wellington Lloyd on Hey Arnold!.
Jan’s mental issues are no joke though. Poor Jan
"Greg. he must have a FLAT TIRE and needs a Jack!" HaHa!!!!!
The "French kiss" part kills me everytime. Heck, the whole movie is comedy gold as well as the sequel.
4:41 is like Alice disguise herself as a truck driver to talk some sense into Jan
The truck driver was played by Ann B Davis the original Alice from the show.
I’m the youngest but I relate so hard to Jan
The carjacker told Greg his name Eddie ……..Priceless!
This is like the 70s 'stuck in the middle'
Ritchie Aprile at 1:42....The Wiiiiyah!
I can’t believe the last clip was actually real lmao
Had to buy on amazon. Forever an all time favourite.
Possessed Jan! 🤣
Who’d want to steal Carol’s car?
How hard was that pass if it broke her WHOLE NOSE
I'd be confused if an Asian tried to rob me too. Only in the movies folks!
“Skule” lmfao. South Park had to get it from this because she says it several times in this and the sequel.
From 1995??? Twenty-five years have already zipped by!!!! Damn!

Oh, Jan!
I love this so much! ^_^ so funny
I didnt realize Betty Thomas from hillstreet blues directed this
I can never show my face in skuool again 🏈➡👱👃
Richie Aprile as a electronical lineman seems out of place

4:05 Jan is nutso but can you blame her😆😆😆

A good laugh. Hey are you going to do any more 90's kid nightmare fuel?
1:38 Richie Aprile from The Sopranos!
Good catch.
Good idea marsha....
Oh jan....lol...
Yes it IS. Always the quiet ones...
Let’s knock over a 711 LOL
Larry David doing voice over for the driver!
0:57 not the brightest move ever
I'm SURE Jen...
2:04 the reasone Chuck had electromagnet sensitivity illness
I Like The Brady Bunch There's Carol and These Guys Too
Cut out the part where the snotty neighbor girl says in a lisp, "see ya on the seesaw Cindy"
Cindy's hair looks fake
3:48 that "Till I met you" song reminds me of the Dan Fogelberg song "Longer" which was popular in 1979
My hubby sang Longer at my wedding as I waited at the back of the church

Thindy wath the thtar of the thow
🤣😂🤣😂
4:49 Carrie Refrence?
Did the Bradys embrace this movie and laughed like everybody else or were they pissed?
I think they embraced it, some characters even made cameos in the second movie!
This movie is a PG- 13 I thought it was PG
You cut out some of the best digs at cindy
0:00 that grass looks fake
On the TV show it was actually astroturf.
The acting is so weird
The Brady's aren't that bright
Jan’s is psycho
But Jan you never had any friends
Why are they dressed like they are stuck in the 60s?
The Brady bunch came out in the 70’s so the movie puts them in 90’s to prove how silly the show is.
That’s the joke.
The Beverly Hillbillies movie and the Scoopy Doo movie also did it.
Wow. This generation is clueless.
@@notthefather3919 I'm 35 but i have never heard of them 😅 sorry
@@franziiii 35 is the older end of this generation..and still clueless.
I personally didn't like this new version of brady bunch, they ruined the innocent concept of the old brady brunch
That was kind of the point. It’s a parody for a reason
A parody is a parody. It's supposed to ruin things. Lmao
