And i wanted a tablet case for soooo long and finally thought to make it myself and saw THIS!!! I will surely try this but I'm gonna decorate mine with foam sheets to make it even better!!! I just made this. Mine was a bit rugged and not quite polished as the one on video because I used a thicker cardboard and also only had to cut two cardboard pieces for the ipad mold instead of three. Also I didnt have the little silver buttons but I found one silver plate instead which I used to keep the case closed. I am still figuring out how to modify it so that the chrger can be used with the case as well as the jack exposed while the ipad is inside. I also found that you can used a rubber band to close the thing if you dont have the magnets installed. And a giant paper clip the one with silver and black clips for thick paper binds works in keeping it closed as well as setting the place how far one can keep the ipad standing. All in all its an excellent DIY design. It works. I love it. I intend to paint it with paint spray probably silver. THANKS kINDER MIX for sharing youre a gem. Saved me from another wasteful spending.
I like it but wish there could be written instructions to follow. And also added how to cover it with vinyl or some kind of cloth as an added feature to the video.

Even though cheap, no name Chinese stuff are probably not tested as much as the more expensive "brand name = came out from the same factory" product, but putting a tablet in a cardboard case ............. And if it falls .......... But if you have money to spare, than why not :) :) It's easy to make a case .......... for anything. But to make a case that protects against the drop ........ not so easy, or anybody would make it. If Google didn't made a cardboard case (as they did with the cardboard VR set) then you should not do it too .... unless you don't value your tablet at all. I, personally, would think 100 times before putting my precious technological wonder in a plastic bag .... I mean, in a cardboard box. Even the tablet cardboard box in which you get the new tablet, is reinforced with sponge and is made of thick, strong cardboard. This cardboard, on the video, is as weak as a shopping bag. Creative, yes. Secure, hell no!
I have 1 but the old tablet broke & now I have a smaller 1 put the thing where u plug it in is to big for this tab,how can i decrease the side from the plugger ?(I call it plugger, Idk what it's called but it's just like a charger but it's big for this tablet)

Also take some old books or hardcover books and use those as the covers for it. And of course cover the inside with some sort of cloth
