- This Scottish Road is VERY REMOTE, but even more incredible! It feels like we are in a James Bond Movie! This is the UNMISSABLE vanlife road trip you've never heard of. Join us on the epic Glen Etive Road, 12 miles of single track road through incredible valleys of Glencoe, exploring some of Scotlands most scenic areas. We make our way from the highlands to the coast, through Fortwilliam the home of Ben Nevis, to the silver sands beaches of Scotland. Vanlife in Scotland has never looked so good, and we are so excited to continue sharing our epic adventures in this beautiful country.

We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But now we are back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and have now made our way to Japan. We enjoyed a three month Japanese Adventure and are now back in Martha ready for some more adventures.

We were up at the Glenfinnan Viaduct last September and got a great video of the steam train in the morning and had a trip on it in the afternoon. I hope you meet up with Tom I think he needs a bit of craic and you two couldn't be better. I think I suggested Fort William which was my favourite town when touring. Look out for any gluten free places and let us know if they exist. Unfortunately I am coeliac and it can be a nightmare when travelling. Loved all the drone footage enjoy your days camping and keep up the swimming but I'd give Ben Nevis a bye Keeley we might never see you again😂❤

I know!!!! I was HORRIFIED!! They were so hard to spot aswell amongst his leg hair, they are tiny! I spent the rest of the night researching Lyme's disease, apparently one in ten ticks has it, I was like you have definitely got it with 19😂 but thankfully he seems all good

The west coast railways. Harry potter train carriages failed a safety inspection (problem with the doors) so all trips cancelled until 1st August.
If your going to Skye, it will be busy, rather go to Harris from Skye, maybe on my next Scotland tour in September.
Yeah might have a look at going to Lewis and Harris aswell! Good idea about going from Skye, prob cheaper

If you mix half water and half vinegar and put in a spray bottle. Spray on tick and they let go and fall off. I usually burn them afterwards. Best way to dispose of them. Get video as alway.Keeley you are so adorable and reminds me of me

Arisaig is and always has been our favourite part of the uk. I holidayed there as a child and have since taken my kids and family back time after time again. Just recently even holidayed with my adult son and girlfriend too. Silver sand and scenery to die for, rain or shine. Now that our vanning days are done it still doesn’t take away our memories.

When you get on Skye, make sure you stock up in the CO-OP in Broadford, I ran out of milk one time and I was 38 miles away from my nearest shop....And I hate black coffee. Up there is the real Land before time, prepare to be mind blown. If your struggling for a signal, buy a £5 anywhere sim card Pay as you go, and will connect to any available network anywhere you go. Can't go far wrong.

Hi guys where you stop for coffee is where I stay in the lay-by there's a wee monument where Bonny Prince Charles left Scotland and the bridge before it there's a horse and cart buried in it as when they were building it fell in and they left it there

Glad you enjoyed Glen Etive. One of my favourite spots for a swim at those falls. The James Bond House is Dalness Estate that was owned by Ian Flemings family and he stayed there sometimes. Very cool.

6:36 Good call - Buachaille Etive Mor is a big beast of a mountain. A really good viewpoint for the mountains in Glencoe is Beinn a' Chrùlaiste which is the one facing you as you approach the A82 from Glen Etive. You don't need to go all the way to the top - half way up is fine.

Me and my family have just come back from fort William and Oban. When we were staying in Glen Nevis there was no signal. Half way up Ben Nevis we had 5G!! 😂
