Great video...unfortunately I could not budge the three hose unit upwards...looks like I can take the prefilter out without removing that...will just vacuum it directly!

The only thing I'd add is to make sure vacuum from the dirty side first (reverse of the airflow) so you're not trying to suck the dirt through the filter. Once that's done then you can lightly vacuum the other side if you feel it is necessary.

I do both air in and put, depending in temps and circumstances, so moth sides get dirty.

Thanks for the tips Jenn! Do you ever use the dehumidify setting on the air8? I haven't seen anyone really explain this mode. Sort of off topic I guess.

I do! You simply set it to the dehumidifier setting (water drop) and set the desired temperature, and enjoy. It really dries things out

I wish the AC in the 400 had a built in dehumidifier. I bought a little portable one on Amazon.
