Taliyah+Pantheon used to be the perfect duo. Point and click CC to guarantee Taliyah's W. Double global ults for roaming and tower dives as soon as level 3. Look at how Riot massacred my baker boy.

@@hablagoru7857 Pantheon got little nerf but the main reason why pantheon support isn't viable anymore is because of support items rework. Nowaday support has very limited amount of gold compare to last season and Pantheon support without gold is completely useless mid to late game cuz he rely so much on having items. So Pantheon support go even or not enough gold lead = useless than any support.
It still is viable, but picking Pantheon support basically means are on a timer to get you and your ADC as fed as possible before you become a short range stunbot and no longer have any real impact.
But I think its pretty fair that Riot reworked Pantheon so he lost power as a support pick, because before the rework he had much higher base damage traded for worse lvl and item scaling, and the ability to just murder botlaners was also unfair.
I think its good that Pantheon is out of the meta, since Pantheon is a pretty toxic champion because how his hidden passive functions: A Pantheon lane always gets camped because of point and click cc.

I know the video is already up but still I'd like to inform you that "ruitjes" refers to little diamonds (the very basic shape with 4 sides) and is pronounced "rui-tjuhs" (put in "ui" in dutch translate and press play, I can't think of an english sound that's the same) ;)
Edit: Oh my, this might be the most powerful strategy covered on this channel so far

I watch ALL of ur videos bro, their so good. I do wish you'd include in the videos what happens in the games that they lose. Cause it kinda seems like every video, the combo or strategy is unbeatable
That is what the 'comeback section' is for. In the games they lose - they lose early and fast - it's pretty simple. Their strategy in lane/skillshots dont work, enemies might just be a lot better, their other lanes might get destroyed. But the most important thing to always remember - you can only execute your game plan to the best of your ability. You cannot win a game, you can only do your best. So every game they just do their best and try to follow this gameplan. If it works - they win most of the time.

a few months ago, I subscribed to you and thanked you for teaching me taliyah support as i needed another support pick than the Pyke I'm OTP on. Seems like I've been doing it all wrong, I didn't need to learn taliyah... I needed to force someone to play taliyah for me!

Porofessor is seriously OP. If your opponents have the Invader tag, just ward and 5 stack a bush level 1. We pretty much win every game this way

These duo lanes are so interesting to me because I'm sure they get underestimated so often which I'm sure leads to more wins. I also really like seeing Taliyah content; one of my favorite champs in the game that I just don't get to play often. Hopefully with the new AP bruiser item, Taliyah will see more play in the jungle. Or honestly, maybe I'll force it and become a Taliyah one-trick.

The name Taliyah can be pronounced both ways. Had someone in my one course in college have that name and it was pronounced how he pronounced it. So I don't necessarily blame him.

I've been one tricking Taliyah for a few weeks now in support, about a 50% win rate, she is so much fun. This duo combo looks really fun and is something I will def try down the road.

Ruitjes. Yup I know him. Played against him in the Dutch College League. Back then was a decent Diamond player. Glad he found a way to get Master.

Taliyah can use her W to pull the range minions and flatten the minion cover for the enemy bot lane allowing Pyke or any support to pressure them with skill shots. They no longer have a second line of cover from their range minions to hide behind and have to risk walking up to CS.
I had some success with a Pyke/Lissandra botlane with one of my buddies. Its not something I would recommend spamming, but in some games it works out quite nicely. You have crazy back-line access and a disgusting lvl 6 (there is almost nothing the enemy botlane can do if Liss just ults the enemy adc). They have good cc (which is usually why we pick it: to counter some hyper-carry on the enemy team like Master Yi) and are also very slippery, both having cc and escape abilities. Liss damage is much lower than Taliyah, but the combo is also much easier to use (just press "r" lol).
I was an adc main and moved to taliya and Leblanc support. Looks like this comp is what I need lol

I'm both happy for these players and yet sad as an ADC main. It just goes to show that ADCs are just falling further and further behind, and there's nothing we can do about it.
Watch QuinnAD . i believe he is using quinn pretty well in lanes. Also late game Adc are pretty useful if team protects their adc
if this was true we would only see assasin/mage lanes in worlds, but its not.

People play around each other in Worlds. Your team in Solo Queue can give two less shits if you're a squishy ADC or not.

8 months later; the combo just got better, now featuring a Stun and more range on Tali's E in addition to her more consistent Q-damage.
As someone who loves taliyah and pyke... i never thought of this.
Ive found that Pyke+Heimerdinger is a good combo too, he hooks people into the 'death zone' and then can execute them
If heimerdinger has Rylais and pyke has collector it's gg
As a former taliyah adc main, I found her to be a solid pick but anyone who knows her kit can counter pretty well. Same goes for teammates who don't know her kit 😅
