it's actually ultra easy to launch it and touch , being low speed make ult animation slow and there it's hard to touch except at melee

@@HappyChimeNoises After 1k range it can easily be fog of war, or close enough to it practically speaking, being screens away. If he doesn't have stacked ms boosts, the velocity is far far worse, if he is too close otherwise, they can panic mobility option out of the way preemptively.
Don't forget to note that your ultimate makes the enemy jungle unable to smite for 2.5

i went from iron to wood from this strategy. it works so well and i didn't get reported at all which was the best part

once his rework came out and predator was out as a rune Predator Warwick is the only thing i played for two years straight. the jump scare complaints and horror movie claims STILL give me dopamine when i do that build again and it makes absolutely GIDDY to see someone else did great things with a build similar to one i enjoyed for so long.

Loved the part about the flame, when Morde wasn't reworked yet, me and my duo stomped so many games with him as more jgl and me as Leona mid. Whenever we lost I was blamed by the team, whenever we won he got all the fame. But I just looked at my 70% win rate on Leona and didn't even care about the flame.

I'm glad to see that you're back my friend, awesome video.
It seems like a great idea, but really only because he is in high ELO already. Warwick has incredible tools for making picks and plays like the CC and movement, but a normal Jungle Warwick has to perform other tasks like clearing camps and doing most of the damage himself, or pushing waves and other activities in Top-Lane. This Warwick support trades all those activities for just doing his CC, because you allow the rest of your team to do the other "chores" for lack of a better word. Reason why I say this would only work in higher ELO, is because those other players are good at doing those other activities.
The Video mentioned it, the player used more traditional tanky Warwick with Flash/Exhaust up until Platinum, where it sounds like he had to look out for himself more. Then when players became better, you can go for a more streamlined approach. This is not unlike that Support Twisted Fate from a while ago you mentioned, who also only ran around to throw a Gold Card stun, and again it works because he has teams that know what to do with it, and he doesn't have to worry about waveclear and midlane etc.
The worst of this will be low ELO players trying the squishy Predator Warwick build, with allies who don't know what he's doing, dont' follow up, and then he'll look like a right square flying across the map to int.
This, any pic it seems that “works” in diamond+ is due to the teammates being vastly better than bronze/silver players that the majority of league players are

I don't really see your point. Doesn't every support trade clearing the jungle or pushing waves for ... well being a support? And your reasoning why this is only supposed to work in higher ELO is that players are better at clearing the jungle and pushing waves (the chores)? So if you played Leona for example, would you be the one doing these activities? I hope not. You are correct by saying that "allies [...] don't know what he's doing, dont' follow up, and then he'll look like a right square flying across the map to int". But this again is not even remotely close to be a problem that only Warwick support faces. Aside from your second paragraph, you are literally describing every roaming support in the game. If you would ask a smurf how they would climb out of low ELO, I guarantee you that they would recommend playing one of these roaming supports, which according to you struggle in low ELO. Why? Because the ability of being in important fights in time holds a lot of value, since League is all about doing things fast.
@@damagee8141Yeah I think with how kill-hungry low ranks are, you just need enough of a good match history to prove others you're a good enemy-catcher for your allies to follow up on, not just some inter (Ghost Cleanse usually scares everyone)

As with any build - it can be adapted to fit any elo. For example tankier ww with flash exhaust for low elo would be excellent.
Do not let the fact that he hit platinum affect the proof that this is a playable pick, it is motivational rather than 'only good in x elo'. That's just like people saying 'only X meta champions can be played', which we disprove every week!
This is hilarious and I'm going to apply this to my Warwick jungle. Been running standard runes on him and flash too long.
I usually never play meta but try to find to a way in every champ to play them differently and make it work, thats how I mostly enjoy the game. And it very satisfying to see whenever you upload a video of someone reaching master with the same idea I had (Warwick Supp, Fiddle Top, Naut Top, Lethality/Tank VI, Crit Olaf, AP Gnar, Tank Veigar) or something even becoming meta after Ive played it (conqueror amumu or lethality red kayn which I was called a troll for before).
Tells me that even if I may be lacking in other aspects and don't play enough to climb far that I have reached some level of understanding of how the game works.
If you dont want to go a team oriented summoner on ww supp then just go barrier, i have a lot of use for it on top lane i dont imagine here itd be much different.
i used to run predetor ww in the days when we still had zzrot and banner of command. raptor's cloak that built into those items sped you up near towers. in short the game plan was to pop ghost predetor walk by a tower and literally launch your self a whole screen away
I'm an OTP warwick since forever now, and in every game i played before and for my entire life, I loved and I mean ABSOLUTELY LOVED playing off meta things. From Breach in Valorant as a duelist ( at the very beginning when he was not played by anyone like that ) to, today training as Warwick support ( mixed results but a lot of fun ). I just love playing things that people don't expect and look down upon until they get smashed in the head by it !

There was a korean master supp warwick main doing this in like season 10 with the same build and runes, only thing that's changed is the ghost cleanse.

I run something similar in the jungle (with ghost smite instead of cleanse of course) - now I'm not a very good jungle player, but it sure is fun. Simply stack every movement steroid you can think of and jumpscare people from half the map away.
As a warwick main, I have to try him in support with this. I aleady tried the Nasus mid and it was good.
I understand how this can work. I played Trundle sup a few times and the enemy always ignore me until I pillar and chomp them (Q slows) back to base.

For items you can also go turbo chemtank or other tanks items. I tried redemption after chemtank and its not that bad (fear into ult and redemption while you suppress them). the only downside is that you have 5 item actives and it can get a bit tricky managing them all

3:17 yep, welcome to playing off-meta. I play Shaco support and I can absolutely dumpster my lane, but will 100% be blamed by my teammates and the opponents for the loss because I played Shaco support. Playing meta poorly is somehow more acceptable than playing off-meta well.

Yeah, i have to fear getting reported from lobbies and then people dodging just for picking off-meta things on support. Reporting on lobby is the worst shiet that has happened to LOL since it rarely works when people occasionally do you dirty and there is not a report for banning people's champions on purpose, so it's kind of useless but when people constantly report you for picking off-meta in champ select for (verbal abuse or whatever, you end up getting banned)
Then for whatever reason if the game goes bad, it's of course your fault that you've picked off-meta even though you have the most vision score, the least deaths, a lot of assists and you've roamed but ohh, you have no heals, shields or buffs. Zyra and brand don't have those but they don't get flamed for picking those champs since they are not considered off-meta but if you pick anivia support or annie, you get flamed to the bone.
My name is literally Sylas support but they've removed the option to check names in champion select, so I get reported before I can even show that it's not a troll pick or even explain it.
Riot has also made a lot of my off-meta favourites - meta, then eventually nerf it, so I lose the thrill of it. Used to love playing kai'sa ap, now it's meta and nerfed. Used to love playing twitch ap, ziggs with grasp and iceborn gauntlet + rod of ages, skarner CDR on top and a bunch more champions that have been ruined because of removed items
Im a Shaco Monster but on Supp its just Pain really i rather play idunno ahri or lb supp instead of shaco ap supp

I figured out a Red dead redemption build. You go for Red items on graves mid and redemption and dead mans plate. Redemptions stats on heal and shield power might actually be useful if you go for something like eclipse, steraks and bloodthirster. I dont know if it works, but it would be pretty funny.

I had a game last night where I ended up ww support for some reason, we decimated them, later I had another game where my teamate didnt wanna yeld the top postion so I ended up sorta jng but without the smite, I figured my only way of actually doing something was to just roam and invade constantly and get as many kills since I would'nt be able to get gold the normal way, they gave up. I'm seriously thinking of trying something like this, I feel like off meta is just more fun.
Finding your own way to play the game is the only way to have fun anymore. When you are working on your own champ, build, and mechanics and constantly improving it makes getting a bad game a lot more tolerable. If you play meta and try-hard every game you will only end up frustrated when someone on your team starts inting and spamming FF. This game has become so toxic and riot doesn't care so every game is a babysitting simulator. You might as well just try to take it easy and enjoy what you can. It's a shame though that riot doesn't like off-meta and tries to delete every build that becomes popular because it doesn't fit into their idea of how the game should work. IMO their champion design and trying to curate the meta instead of letting players figure things out on their own is what has made league less fun in recent years. Channels like HappyChimeNoises are a beacon that are keeping the spirit of old league alive in the modern day.

What an... interesting build. I always loved Warwick as a character and his kit is fun, but due to how much i hate top and jungle role, i always kind of shifted away from him. Here's a possibility for me to start playing him, i guess. I would actually do a few things differently than Horned Warwick. Going relentless hunter might not be as good of an idea since due to movement speed cap, mobi boots with relentless hunter might result in diminishing effectiveness. I'd say that ultimate hunter might be another good option, or even ingenious for more predator activations.

So many people dont realize WW r, increases launch distance with movement speed. Ive been accused for hacks cuz of this and the chats gets fun for other games.
This is one of my favorite builds for WW, he's absolute bullshit you can build practically anything so it makes sense to build speed. I've been using a slightly different variation for quite a while now, really happy that chemtech is no longer mythic. I've missed pretty much every ult, but it's really fun being the fastest on the rift.

Cleanse seems troll but if you ever play warwick you will understand just how difficult it is to actually catch people or escape. He has 335 base ms after all. In-combat ms is his main weakness and this setup is designed to circumvent it.
