  • In this video, we show you our method for leveling the build plate on our printers, as well as bringing up some points on adjustability. Showcased in this video is our E10, but this method can be applied to all of our printers.

Sweet. Thank you. That was all neat and clean and easy to understand. I also have a question similar to Tim L's. It's to do with the HOME position verses the ZERO POINT position. You mentioned that those two are not necessarily the same, so when I'm calibrating the start position for printing, by using the HOME position with the piece of paper, how does the Z-POINT come into place here? I followed the video and I ended up getting a perfectly taught grip on the paper. So do I then want to set the Z-point here or am I good to go?

I see that you don't have the resin vat on the machine when you re-level. Doesn't that add a few mm to the height? Do we do this level without it?

That’s what the paper is for, to simulate the thickness of the fep filter. Without the vat it’s much more manageable to size

@Fellipe I figured it out. I started a print and then immediately canceled it and it went all the way up, and then when I push home it went as normal

@@MrChowdub hahahaha literally after writing the comment i did somewhat of the same thing. ran a print with no tray and on the first scan the paper was tight. home is still off but after the calibration the first layer is at 0. i almost started messing with the screws on the plate which im happy i didnt
