But what the movie could have done is set up a rematch, when hulks lack of technique would come, another avenger could interfere, maybe hulk could tank a powerstone blast for somebody, they just threw him out of the fight which made no sense.lets not forget that they built up some story around bruce and hulk communicating and created smart hulk...

Up until the last two avengers movies the hulk has always been the ultimate finisher. They bought him in to strike fear or beat the best . Then bizarrely for infinity and endgame he is not just beaten but flat out humiliated in a tiny 2 minute punch up with thanos then reduced to this ridiculous half banner half hulk hybrid that plays barely a part of the 2 chapters except getting again worked over by the sorcerer supreme. @@H.K.5 Doesn't matter, Thanos' intentions was to not kill Thor, when Thanos snapped, he could've just blew Thor's head off with the power stone but he didn't because that wasn't his goal. He just wanted to get everyone out of his way. Also, don't reply saying Thanos won't have the strength to do that when he had the strength to snap and use the space stone after that.

I cant lie, the battle between doctor strange and thanos was by far the best I had seen
Up until the last two avengers movies the hulk has always been the ultimate finisher. They bought him in to strike fear or beat the best . Then bizarrely for infinity and endgame he is not just beaten but flat out humiliated in a tiny 2 minute punch up with thanos then reduced to this ridiculous half banner half hulk hybrid that plays barely a part of the 2 chapters except getting again worked over by the sorcerer supreme. I still cannot get over after all this time hulk being sissified so badly for no apparent reason

And I thought Thanos was brutal. Then I saw MoM. Thanos has such supreme confidence in his power and such single-mindedness to his vision that most of the time he has the stones, he's holding back on everyone. Nothing would have stopped him, for example, from making Drax's spaghettification permanent and life-threatening like a certain someone did to someone else in MoM.

Also remeber, even with the gauntlet its not like anyone can wear it. Look what it did to Hulk, permanently injured him, he had to take it off

Even without the stones there are very few characters in the MCU that could even beat Thanos. I'd say the only ones who could match him was Strange, Scarlet Witch, and Infinity War Thor. That's it. And besides Thor, every one of those guys could easily be cut in half by Thanos if he were to get the chance. Thanos is the number one villain for a reason.
Don't forget Captain Marvel. She could go toe to toe with him, because she has been technically granted powers by the Tesseract, which is the Space Stone.
