Our real mission while in town is the search of Bill Simmons which took place this same day with other sonar and dive search teams in the area while we were performing environmental cleanup to get these cars out of the water.
Bill left his home early one morning around 1:30 am in June.
It is believed Bill drove their Gold Toyota Camry to the river.
Thank you to Christy (Bill's wife) for her support in bringing us into her family to help find and recovery Bill to bring him home and give her the answers she was looking for.

I got you ÂŁ10 for you my coolest friend you are a awesome friend thank you with love Craig king
I'm a newcomer to your channel, just finished watching my first video. I am attempting to watch others but they are all a jumble. If I could make one suggestion it would be to arrange your playlists by case and have all the videos from start to finish of each case in their own separate playlist. It would make viewing your videos much easier and make sure that us viewers don't miss any important parts of a case. Search results for all the videos of a certain case doesn't list them in proper viewing order.
just realised you are patty mayo's cameraman!

Do you guys try to find VIN numbers on those cars and cross-check those VINs to find out who they belonged to?
Can we all take a second to appreciate how nice of a rotator Dads Towing has?
I wish every county in the U.S. had at least one.
What a mess our waterways are in! But getting better one vehicle at a time! đthanks you!
It is sad and gross to think of how awful the quality of water has been in the Nashville River here. Disgusting. Until I started watching you, I had NO IDEA there were so many cars in bodies of water. Thank you for getting them out!
David Copperfield-not the magician, I live around fairly close to this area. I have all my life and you could probably find most anything in this river and the Harpeth! Seriously, these rivers are just trashed.
@@nto5gb239 What a bummer! No doubt there are laws against dumping cars and things in the rivers. But it doesn't matter because those laws are never enforced and people know it. And rivers and lakes are never cleaned out either. Poor fish and other wildlife who need clean rivers. Terrible.
There used to be a week a year or so that Metro spent fishing cars and such out of the Cumberland (the river they are in in the video). No clue if they do it anymore, but I'm sure they never get them all.
Content creators working together! Community not Competition Love it! We are all about this hope to work with yâall!
Team work makes the dream work Baby! đ
@@stressmuffin Jared and I have spoken and had just started to make plans when covid shut down the border to đšđŠ but one day we will get the boys up here ! Cheers
I subscribed to all their channels because I saw them working together â€ïž
thank you for cleaning up the environment. Most of all, thank you for searching for persons like Bill Simmons, Randy Leach, Ethan K, Nathan Ashby and others. You have a loving heart. God bless!
Doug from Elite Towing always showing up and pulling these cars out for the sake of helping out. love it so much. #ecowarriors
Great job guys I still think you should check into Dawn dish soap to see if they would sponsor you guys as you saw the tow truck driver spraying it on the water to neutralize the oil and gas that would be a great sponsorship for you guys
Wesley Wesley Wesley
Was wondering what he was spraying...thanx for the education đ
How does that work exactly? Does it cause it to clump at the surface so it can be skimmed off? I know they use it for treating wildlife during oil spills but wondering how it works in this instance.
@@weis0083 I don't know how it works. But I do know things like soap tend to break down oils so I guess that could maybe be whats happening.
What about booms down stream around work area?
How would this video get 59 dislikes? Makes absolutely no sense at all. You guys do a wonderful job in cleaning up the environment and solving old mysteries! Much love â€ïž
The music that started as Jared was struggling with the car... made me cackle. It was like Dan was subtly trolling Jared.
I did too it actually got it reminds me of the Jeopardy theme song with a funny twist đ€Șđ€Ș
Dan and Doug with the Rover! Pure entertainment!! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Fished that ramp once in the early 2000s. Lost my tackle about every other cast. Now I know why!
Dan, youâre so talented at what you do. The editing is so professional! I loved the underwater music! đ€© Thank you everyone for helping keep our rivers clean.
I don't know what the world would do without these superheros.. They don't make money everyone. They do all this out of the kindness of there heart.. đ
so thi
Don't make money?? You Have to Pay to view some of their videos.
@@joshuamccallum7755 I think the money from the subscriptions helps pay for equipment repair & replacements, refilling air tanks, and helping with food & fuel.
I can't imagine that they turned down the $100,000.00 reward for finding a missing person.
The fact that I'm watching this video and had to watch an add then see 5 yellow marks on the player bar begs to differ that they don't get paid. The person who posts the video decides if you get pop ups and full ads and how many. So no, he isn't doing this for free otherwise it would be posted ad free and not be monetized
Im.amazed by all your enthusiasm for cleaning up, and finding so many good things. Wonder what the ocean looks like?đ”đ”đ”đ”đ
Love to see all the new friendships being made.
Aww I would love to see the bill symonds car recovery without having to upgrade
Great job guys ...I love watching all the great work you do x
I think you guys should get involved with the Josh Guimond case in Minnesota. His father is currently trying to get more case files released and many people including myself believe that Stump lake needs to be searched more thoroughly.
Well done !!!!! Yall don't get enough credit for all.you do!!!! The whole production !!!!
I loved the music Dan chose... I laughed so hard when Jared was talking and the muic OMG so funny
Dan, You are such a Pro! The Editing is AWESOME! BEYOND YOUR YEARS YOUNG MANđâ€
Dan I just started editing videos at my job and I will be happy if they turn out 30% as good as these. Great job sir!
Love the underwater hook-up music, Dan! :D
11:50 I had a flashback of Aladdin which I had often watched alot in the early 90s. Lmao... Thanks 4 that...
The rover reminds me of little geek from âThe Abyssâ.
Glad you got little geek back!
Not just doing good deeds for grieving families and cleaning up the environment, but also making friends AND teaching others how to do similar good deeds.
I love what you all created in Nashville, the bond of like minded people. Dan, great editing with these videos. Well worth watching again. The live was amazing, as are all involved. Keep up the great work!
I love the music playing when Jared is down!
Iâm from Morgan city Louisiana and watching you guys find and pull carâs from the riverâs. I can imagine how many carâs are in our local waterways.
Yeap thinking the same thing...
Great job guys!!! Let me know if you have room for one more. Love what you do and would love to shoot a video helping and cleaning the river.
the music was light and energizing.... fitting for the spirit you guys exhibit! Great job guys love watching!! Good work!
Yâall are all just amazing at saving the planet and the environment đđ»đđ»
Wonderful to get them cars out of the water, better fou the fish. You all did a wonderful job.â€â€â€đđđđđźđđđ đđđđđđđđđđđ
That water must be highly acidic. Most cars left in freshwater donât deteriorate that much!
jep there where times not even 100 years ago where you could go for a swim in rivers and even drink the water without getting sick.
Outstanding work, as always. What a monster event this was!!!!đđđđđđ
Awesome job AWP looks like a lot of fun
# 5.5 When Surfacing, a ring of Oil\ Gas showed on the Water. That reminded me - I have Not seen any others or missed them.
Must not be a lot (left) or at least now leaking. *BRAVO to ALL!*
I'm from Nashville and grew up hearing stories of people that dumped cars off the ramps along the Cumberland River. Ferries were used to carry people across the river before they built bridges. So interesting to see how many of these stories are true.
I love đ what you do for family god bless you
Thank you for your God given talent and you guys rock...what you do is really amazing..Purpose is what drives you guys.đđđđ
This is a great job that you do. I fill that you are giving them closer to the family. I love your video that you show.
Guys incredible job !
Love the fact your expanding with drones out standing ! đ€
Another Amazing episode from all you guys, I love everything you do from clearing the rivers, finding lost loved ones and fooling around and having some fun for yourselves to relieve the emotions you guys have when helping families itâs really important to look after yourselves when helping find lost love ones đ, stay safe take care, love to you all and your families đ
Ahh these men are heroes! This river is much cleaner and no doubt much safer
You guys are awesome Thankyou for all that you do
I don't think that in Slovenia we have 18 cars under the water in whole country let alone in one spot. But good work on cleaning the water sistem over the pond :)
Im glad not only is this guy with others finding lost loved ones.. But also cleaning out all them snags that broke my fishing line.. Thinking it was a big cat fish
do do dooo doo do do* song was actually fire lol gj guys keep up the awesome work
I had to checkout this video, because itâs a different, light hearted video that is about you guys & other divers removing cars out of the water.
Thatâs a âmuddyâ Oldsmobile!
Hoping Lucille wasn't left in it.
Facebook is the first place i saw these videos. Now am subscribed
Hi Jared! When do you think đ€ we will see something on the Randy Leach case? The whole case is fascinating to me. I truly hope you can locate him so his mother can have peace. If anyone can solve the case itâs definitely you and your team. Love what you do! đ
I think sometime next month. We have a lot of footage to still go through.
Awesome canât wait!!
You guys deserve to be on national geographic. Some different, nice and relaxing programming.
Love the music when Jared is under the water hooking up the vehicles. Almost sounds like a game show or movie theme songs.
Good job, as always...
Watching from the Philippines
Jaredthank you for sharing this video Yes you pull out cars from the river just say of the river love watching it you all have a wonderful and blessed day happy Easter I donât celebrate Easter but you all of you can
Loved the edit, Dan!
Great job Jared love this channel!!
You guys were like 2 miles from me if that!! Love love your channel!!
It is so freaky that there are so many cars dumped in lakes and rivers. So unhealthy for the ecology of these places. Thanks for getting so many of these out. The technology used is amazing!
I Love the Music you play with these videos!!! Someone is a great editor and has a great musical ear!!
Whew! This is near my area. When are you guys coming back to clean more cars out of this river and the Harpeth River? You never know what you might find...You guys are still my heros!!!
Brilliant editing DAN , Keep up your great work.đđđŹđ§
You're about to pass 100,000,000 views on CZcams! Congratulations!
I always look forward to watching your videos cant wait until the next one I hope you all have a blessed Easter weekend much love and prayers from Whitehouse ohio
Fabulous job everyone has done!!!!!!
Great job specially to Adam Brown
Yâall are awesome!!!I just liked and Subscribe!!! also going to share!
So i've been binge watching your videos and you have helped so many families and cleaned up so much debris. It's extremely humbling just to watch your adventures and who you get to meet along the way. Out of all the videos, one question i've always had is on your deeper dives, what's the depth where you have to do decompression stops on the way back up?
@@pied-bydropoutengineer6512 i was just curious about when do you know you have to do decompression stops when coming back up? how deep can you dive without doing them?
Sending love support and respect from Boston đŻđđ
I hope the family will get closure. Good Luck fishing tomorrow.
13:20 The Oldsmobile looks to be a 1985 Oldsmobile 98 Regency. 1985 was the only year the 3.8 was offered with a distributor. Rare find. I own 2 1986 Oldsmobile 98 Regency's. Nice cars.
Loving the content fantastic job Jarod and Dan for editing
Good job you guys. You are all doing great
As always, Great job!
man i can see myself with a bunch of swears coming out of my mouth trying to figure out how to chain that one car that jared is struggling to do. man lol
I was thinking the same thing! đ€Ż
He's counting cars . I'm like what is this and underwater shopping mall? Lol
Olds ninety8
Chrysler new yorker
88-98 chevy pick up.i think it was that rusty before it went into car wash lol. Those things rotted before first coat of paint was sprayed on lol
98 was a large body car....i.e a Bonneville/Lesabre sized
DANDAN great use of the drone footage!! gives a unbelievable overview.
I love the music !
Love you guys. Come to Toronto! Major shady lake front
You guys are amazing. Thanks
Man... just found yall yesterday been binge watching yalls videos since. I just keep thinking Only if all these cars could talk.
My mother says her dad owned an oldsmobile back in the 60's That's a lot of work cars from many decades..
Love the videos! Keep it up.
BTW, has anyone ever told you you sound just like Jeff Anderson? (Randal from clerks). Lmao
Fantastic.
I'm glad your pulling out all of the cars. I seen other videos where you didn't pull out other cars. Because of the cost. Money should be the last thing to worry about. So many people missing. You could close alot of cases
They only reason they are able to pull these cars out is because the tow truck drivers are not being paid. They volunteered their time and are missing work to do this. But it still costs money to run the trucks, and the tow company has to cover these guys days off.
I'm a newcomer to your channel, just finished watching my first video. I am attempting to watch others but they are all a jumble. I've been binge watching this channel for a few days now and am simply amazed by what you guys do.
I'm curious if you guys have heard of the Chance Englebert case? Went missing near Gering, Nebraska a few years ago and hasn't been much news for a long time. Its an interesting case, maybe you guys would wanna look into it.
Congrats on all the success! Got a new subscriber :)
You should team up with one of those restoration channels. It would be good to see the cars back on the road. Hehe
You guys are awesome!
Oh....this is the Cumberland River in Nashville. I'm not surprised at all the cars. No telling what all else is in there.
I finally see the turtle everyone was going on about in the live stream!
Poor cars. I can watch this all day.
Awesome job wow guys!!
Wow the little camera thing really clears the underwater.
Amazing the amount of cars that are in lakes, creeks, rivers. I wonder if we have as many in our rivers in the UK.đ
No doubt we do.
Yes most likely
I came to find out why? How come so many? I donât understand
Stealing and stripping cars was very popular in the 80s. They had to get rid of them somewhere. A rock quarry near my hometown was used by one ring, but they were caught and went to prison.
@@FlemFlam86 oh ok interesting. Thx!
Awesome video happy Easter weekend keep up the good work with cars
Guys please come to Hot Springs Arkansas and search Lake Hamilton. AL Capone and his buddies used to hang out here and hideout on the islands.
I like the underwater drone! Is there such a thing as an unmanned robotic raft that is/could be equipped with those sonar devices you use to criss cross the river/lake and transmit to independent computer like those robot vacuums and lawn mowers? It seems something like that could be very useful, allowing you to search and tag a couple of waterways at the same time.
Aww come on guys..say Hi ...from the uk xxx
