- If you've read Emily St. John Mandel's Station Eleven, you know about the Severn City Airport. So, here's a take on the old "deserted island" question: If you were going to be stranded in Severn City for decades, what three books would you want to have with you?

I liked how in the TV series they spoke of downloading Wikipedia etc. They created electricity through solar panels and I have over 500 books on my Kindle app, so I know it's not as romantic as hardcover books, but I'd choose that! If not, then Jane Eyre, Their Eyes Were Watching God and either The Poisonwood Bible or a book of Mary Oliver poetry.
