Also important to note that Dragusin can sometimes be rash in possession and this may cause issues for Spurs due to them requiring so much composure at the back. It will be interesting to see how Ange Postecoglu develops Radu!
I can't see how the spurs center backs so easily get notice being hard ball players were as the arsenal guys are worse with lots of niggles in a match
Ti stai sbagliando , Dragusin al contrario di Romero e molto potente fisicamente ma entra sempre pulito . Romero spesso entra troppo fallosamente nel Genoa prendeva sempre cartellini Rossi, Dragusin mai preso un rosso e forse un giallo.
Dragusin ha fermato tutti i migliori attaccanti di serie A senza mai perdere su un dribbling.
Rispetto a Romero è anche più forte di testa. Deve invece migliorare molto nei rilanci , ma questo è più importante nel calcio Italiano dove il difensore deve rilanciare e scavalcare il centrocampo per rendere l'azione più veloce, da noi si dice far correre il pallone,mentre nel calcio Inglese si corre di più con i giocatori.

Can't wait to see him, hopefully Sunday at Manure. He's a unit, like Romero, but seems more in control of himself. Love the idea of a long ball from defence, like Toby used to do, accurate and deadly...thinking Dele Alli scored a few from those.
Spurs defenders have been encouraged to be a lot more riskier with the ball since Ange came in so, if I'm understanding what you mean correctly, Dragusin's rash side may well be a good fit.

We've scored 6 headed goals this season, I think we are second only to Wolves and they haven't scored too many more. Romero has got 3 goals so far this year and is the top scoring defender in the league so we're not THAT bad aerially!

Hey there, we have just said goodby e to Radu after 1 year and a half in Genoa CFC. Good luck Radu and You guys, at Spurs, enjoy his arrival, we will really miss him! We hoped he could remain for the whole season but it was not possible. All supporters here at Genoa are a little disappointed as he is really very strong and committed. Radu is a very good defender and pretty ok striker especially using head. Above all he is a really good professional player and a serious guy. We Love him and you will as well.
Spurs fan here, I can say we love him already for sticking to his word and choosing us over Bayern.

If we manage to pull in Werner and Radu now, with the addition of Connor Gallagher before the window closes at the end of January, we really have a first XI and bench that could challenge for major honours. Great analysis man. This is the first video I’ve seen of yours & I loved it. Dragusin is a gigantic signing. He has massive scope for improvement & playing next to Van De Ven or Romero, or the odd game as a back 3 will bring him on hugely. His stats for Genoa cannot be trusted, Spurs play a totally different shape & system to Genoa & Dragusin will be way more suited to his new sides playing style than he was to his old sides. Next season Spurs WILL challenge for the title with Man City & Liverpool.

I too have looked at his stats ln fbref, and i think its given a lot of Spurs fans cause for doubt. But its a small sample size and a completely different team. He passes the eye test in terms of rhe attributes we need. On top of what you've mentioned, he's also a big threat from set pieces (v high on progressive passes received - presumably set pieces - and his chance creation stat must be linked to the amount of headers he wins).
One key thing that nobody seems to be mentioning is he appears happy on either the left or right sided CB positions. This is massive for Spurs as he can become the first option for both Romero and Vdv and see plenty of game time.

We're into a stage in football, where a CB could be brought on to change the way a team attacks.

He will improve massively and I believe for as good as he is already he can improve a lot and by next season he will be known as one of the best around in my opinion
I also have a feeling Werner is going to be a great signing and fit for spurs with a fully fit squad even more so he doesn’t have that expectation on him now either everyone is expecting him to fail but I think they will be strongly mistaken and it’s a good fit with the way Ange plays as well as the players around him good luck Werner and Spurs you’ve been brilliant to watch this season and I believe you’ll only improve with time!

Its great to see Levy listening to his manager and getting players he wants to suit Angeball. In the summer he'll need an upgrade on Hojbjerg and Skipp before we can seriously challenge for top spot.
Levy doesn't get involved with transfers as much as some would have you believe. His primary job as chief executive is to ensure the club is financially secure and as such he sets the spending amount avaliable for each transfer window. Although he is known to have been involved in negotiations he leaves the scouting of players to those with the expertise hence why he's always had a Director of Football.
@jacobhorsfall Totally agree with ange making this signing due to how aggressive he in the the tackle and in possession. But the fact that he had good long passing having an impact on why he signed him doesn’t make sense. Ange is all about playing football on the floor and through the midfield even when under massive pressure which is his way of breaking the press with less chance of loosing the ball and why he plays the fullback invertedly. I don’t think I’ve seen us play a long pass more than 5 time under ange and it wouldn’t work due to us having most of the ball in the opposition half and there not being and space in behind.

Pass accuracy is a misleading and redundant stat. The best passers in world play more incisive passes which carry more risk. Whereas the worst passers in a team go backwards and sideways, which keeps their pass accuracy high. It’s actually quite a damaging stat as it makes people think the players with high pass accuracy are good passers.
