      Dave is a prick. Lol. Why do you think the band is so often called Megadave? Cause he has one of the biggest egos in the business. Nobody can stand to work with him long enough to stick around. It's just a revolving door of band members through the years. If they didn't kick Dave out when they did... we might not have either band. They might have just fallen apart completely and the face of metal would be completely different. All because Dave is a douche. Great guitarist. Great song writer. Used diaper of a person.

    • @rubemortenson1724
      @rubemortenson1724 Před 4 měsíci +10

      Let's not forget, Dave booted Nick Menza from the band two days after having surgery. OVER THE PHONE. Nick said something along the lines of "You can't fire me man... this is my band, too". Dave said "No... this is my band and this is what's happening".
      So let Dave bitch and moan all he wants about being fired from Metallica for being a scum bag. He's gonna cry about it for the rest of his life. But he's fired guys from Megadeth for no reason at all. Megadeth is his solo project. He's never seen it as a collaborative effort. His monster ego would never allow it. He would have eaten Metallica alive if they hadn't made the smartest decision they ever made when they got rid of him.

Said Al was a better guitarist than Marty , and would have picked him if they had both tried out the same day . Then later said Al was a good "temporary" replacement but certainly no Marty !! He loves making hard hitting, well thought out, metal tunes that will be relevant for decades to come, something Metallica quit doing years ago. Dave isn't on a huge ego trip. He's rather humble, especially considering his talent. No, the members of Metallica, namely Lars, but sometimes James, have allowed their over inflated to egos run amok. At least twice they've selfishly and in a slimy and cowardly way, fired people from the band who were talented, loyal, and integral parts of the band. Lars even said in Some Kind Of Monster that he felt that when Dave was in Metallica that he couldn’t relate to the macho alpha male environment that Dave and James had created and was jealous of their friendship. Dave also said in his book that after he was kicked out Lars went around to everyone they knew and said that Dave sucked at guitar and didn’t help write any songs. Lars was jealous of Dave. Ron even said Lars ruined him and James friendship. James and Ron were friends before Lars was even in the picture.
