I loved it when the Shade said "let's C" and Cd all over the map
truly one of the units of all time
On the 'Most played modern RTS' thing, starcraft 2 has a big edge with co-op vs AI. Theres a huge audience in... every genre for good PVE content and SC2 supports that audience better than any other RTS out there.
Edit: Co-op Commanders mode, I mean. It's the most popular mode in the game by a vast margin.

I remember playing this on Bnet pretty religiously back in 2004. I could never break that 50% win rate. Things I learned from watching Grubby VOD....
1. I never used the attack command, I just clicked on units I wanted to attack. This was horrible.
2. I tended to watch things through, Grubby knows when things are going to happen and move on to another task almost instantly. For example if a unit is going to die for sure, you don't have to stare at it....I definitely screwed that up.
I would also HYPER focus during battles and forget to build things and produce units. I had to learn when to look away.

At 25:00 I was clenching my buttcheeks hard because that Paladin could have turned level 6 at any moment and mass resurrect six of his knights at once. Fortunatly the Death&Decay prevailed!

Imagine telling blizzard devs back in 2000s, the meta would evolve to the point of bloodlusted liches solo chasing and dps-ing down knights, with an orb, double claws and no intelligence items

If they'd give Anti magic shell an anti-debuff buff, similar to anti-magic potion, it would create synergy with frost wyrms and necros, where wyrms could be buffed with frenzy, but not be slowed anymore. It would be an interesting, new mechanic.
I never realized it was a rose in the skill icon for death and decay. I thought it was some impressionistic old man.
Hey man, love your videos! If you are looking to try some other RTS games, you could take a look at "Lord of the Rings the Battle for Middle Earth II + The Rise of the Witch King". Longest title of any game ever 😅but a very beloved and awesome game, I highly recommend it 🙂

Sure, ghost doesn't have lots of hp for lich mana ritual, but you can make lot of them
Hey I'd just like to apologize for commenting about the video FPS dropping, it is not.
My phone just seems to drop fps if it goes to 2k res on youtube, and it would randomly switch quality, and the weird part is everything beside the video itself remains smooth.
I made this mistake because I always watch these videos on my phone, and they're almost the only ones with 2k res. Also my phone is just 1 year old too.

You need insane setup like this to get Death and Decay to actually run its course.
I once performed death and decay on orc base with spikes and lich lost more than half life. I wonder if it still applies.
You didn't, it only reflects melee damage, always has.
Did you overlap the aoe on yourself? Spikes do nothing
Did the lich trip and fall at some point during the cast? Spikes don't reflect spell damage.
@@HellecticMojo I tried it again in ud campaign and didn't work so most probably it was an overlap and I didn't notice.

Any reason why the opponent keep using holy light on unit with anti magic shield?
Because Anti-Magic Shell is no longer just completely immunity. Or else he wouldn't be able to even cast Holy Light on it in the first place like when it was it's old OP form. Now just view it as a bubble. It's an absorb. So he's holy lighting it to break the absorb to get to the worker with the next holy light.

Never thought of this but what if shades could mine gold but not build buildings. It's an interesting unit but probably the weirdest one since you need to build a structure just ot have the possibility of having one.
You need to build a structure for a possibility to have every unit lol
That'd be broken, basically no eco harass as they're invis and ghouls can defend themselves nicely. You could do with 1 single acolyte hidden somewhere for your building needs.

But a frost wyrm does a ton. A shade costs a useful unit (not too costly) and does nothing but cost supply to be a movable sentry ward.
Sacrifical pit should do a lot more in my opinion.
@@xakoman8003 It'd be like wisps in an entangled gold mine, perhaps being visible if mining.
But yeah I just never thought of how a shade is just a sentry ward that takes supply.
Of course creativity and balance oppose each other so the idea doesn't lend itself to anything beyond looking for a purpose for a shade beyond invis worker.

i imagine he thought he could trade mana for mana and nuke through it. He was hyperfocused on nuking down lich. his play was very good otherwise

Blizzard did such a good job with making each race as cool as it can be. The sounds effects the quotes visuals ect. Just imagine how good a WC4 game would be with the technology that we have now. The abomination after you have clicked on him a million times says "Us dead sexy!" (Austin Powers reference). Austin Powers one of my favorite movie series of all time. Another quote that cracks me up is when the crypt fiend says " you rang ". Blizzard should come out with a WC4 and SC3. Ai generated to help. Make it faster and cooler
The love that made Warcraft 3 does not exist anymore. There is no way Warcraft 4 will better than Warcraft 3 if they made it. Love is everything when making excellent 11/10 games.
Get the right people on the job is the secret sauce. Blizzard makes good stuff. I started with WC2. The jump to WC3 was good. Then frozen throne and the incredible game that withstood the test of time that it is today. I would only imagine WC4 would be absolutely incredible. The WC3 reforged left plenty to the imagination. I don't count reforged as an attempt. WC4 and SC3 would be amazing. The jump from SC1 to SC2 was a good one too. I don't know if they could use Unreal engine 5. I am a complete newb to video game making... But that unreal engine 5 looks pretty good.

You can usually send a ban appeal through Twitch and the mods/streamer will check your chat history to see if it was an error.
I mean i came from a different comment from yours to check what kind of person you are and this message was just flaming battlenet wc players with saying they are noobs like 3 times in one sentence. Depending on this behaviour you are probably lying.
