The LED dashboard light strip has a function (it's not there just for looks). If you are stopped in traffic and sneaking a peek at your mobile (which you are keeping as low as you can because your not supposed to be using it), if traffic ahead moves and you don't, the light will blink. Sort of sounds like "aiding and abetting" to me, cause you know drivers that have a phone welded to their hand will love this feature. Be forewarned: this LED strip is not included in the SE/LE model. Also not included is the full width LED light bar aft of the hatch. The lense is there but it does not illuminate.
I got a 2023 Prius AWD in Reservoir Blue and I love it! I am currently making so I can put a spare tire in the back trunk. Waiting for 1 part to come in then ready to do that.
@@holliecarter5976 Toyota can furnish a Spare Tire Kit for the regular Prius. It includes a full size tire and rim, a lug wrench and jack and, modified foam inserts to place around the tire. Also, a steel protection plate to cover the electrical junction under the hatch floor. There is a bolt hole for the hold-down bolt already in the trunk. I think the kit is $1,300 CAD. Sadly, the kit will not work with our 2024 Prime, no room due to the larger battery.
Why would someone want a Prius over a Corolla Hybrid XSE sedan? Are there major differences other than appearance? Btw great video and the new Prius is a very nice looking vehicle! Big cost difference between the two vehicles? Thank you 😊
