    I don't need my car to look "new", I need my car to look "good".
    And the Q50 not only looks good, it looks fantastic.
    It's almost a perfect design to me. It's a 9.5/10 and there's only a handful of cars I'd give that score.
    It's also the perfect blend of comfort, power and efficiency to me.
    For all these reasons I'm actually considering getting a Q50 as my next car. Really adore this car.

      If you care anything about interior quality and comfort, I don’t recommend this at all. There’s far better options with the same power and ACTUAL luxury. Trust me, that infotainment system is the biggest pain in the ass.I would only recommend the q50 if they refreshed the interior.

    The Q50 is a great bargain car. I got my 2015 premium with 38k miles for 22k. No accidents, etc. overall it’s an extremely comfortable place to be in with a decent audio system (I added a sub and it sounds amazing now) it can get good fuel economy if you try but that’s no fun lol. You can do a lot looks wise, but the 3.7 lacks performance capability, I would chose the 3.0T because with 3,000 you can get the AMS packages and make 500awhp. So imagine picking up a used 3.0t for 25k and only having roughly 3,000-4,000 invested and for a car under 30k you have 500hp and that’s not crank numbers, those are wheel numbers. My only complaints are I would like ambient lighting, top screen to look newer, more bass from stock audio. Other than that I think these cars are a steal at used prices!

    Thanks Rob! One of the few "fair" reviews of the Q50. I have the "Sport" (not Red Sport) model and love the car. Many of the options you mention are included with the Sport version.
    I just rented an Audi A4 for the week and would NOT even think of trading my Q50 for that vehicle.
    There is way too much "piling on" with reviews on the Q50. Thanks for your independent legit thoughts on the car.

  • @CB-ec8uw
    @CB-ec8uw Před 2 lety +6

    I work in the automotive industry, and I know why a back seat often won't fold down. Allowing the back seats to fold down is a great feature for a family sedan, like a Toyota Camry, but not for a dedicated sports or luxury sedan. Split seating causes engineers to make compromises with regard to structural integrity, leading to more Noise - Vibration - Harshness, aka NVH. Leaving the cavernous hole split seating requires allows for more vehicle flex and body roll. Many premium level sedans do not include fold-down seats for this reason. Keeping the area behind the rear seat solid, with only a small pass-through hole, for say fishing poles, enables the manufacturer to increase structural integrity, creating a firmer, more solid ride and ultimately, a safer vehicle.

      @@bigden2755 I'm afraid you're wrong
      Nissan makes Infiniti, it's their luxury vehicle brand. Just like Lexus is Toyota's and Acura is Honda's. The same Nissan engineers that work for Nissan's also work for Infiniti. They share a company, which means funding, resources, and engineers. The cars are closely related.

      @@James_Cy …...DUHHHH....LOL... Yeah I know… owned a 07 Altima and now a Q50.First of all, platforms are totally different: FWD vs RWD/AWD.... Design wise, the Maxima looks similar to an Altima (floating roof, grille ect.). Look at the two cars in every angle, they are totally different….
