Thank you so much for doing this!! Can you show how the rest of your return goes? how does the water get pumped from the Sump to the tank? and how big is you tank?
looks to be a 40 gallon breeder size aquarium. He has the return PVC line on the opposite side on the back of the tank, and the return pump would be on the opposite side of the sump feeding the return PVC line.
How high did you ser your template? I’ve heard that you won’t have to raise it 1” above the rim of the tank otherwise the water level in the tank will be below the black trim. Is this correct?
I'm really considering buying one myself the medium how is it that you got this thing so quiet I'm really intrested to know and also does your skimmer on the inside as it go up against a plastic bar is it tight? I can't believe how quiet your system is running I badges I'm so impressed my next question is do you have all kinds of water splashing down below when it comes out I hate when it splashes because it makes the salt creep go everywhere?
hey man....nice setup. im also getting this soon. i just wanna ask u if u followed the template for the hole? because i like where ur water level is at. thanks.
Did you drill it yourself? Also, how does the intake work? And why are there two holes going down? Can you explains that? I am setting my tank up right now as we speak and want to get this
pierre geof I see the same thing, the problem is this tank (like mine) has a the black rim. The inside of the overflow box is sitting below that rim which is why you see the water line. This overflow is mainly for a rimless tank so you wont see water line.
Awesome video! I'm brand new to this and your video has been one of the more helpful ones for me. Thank you!
Thanks for the video and great job on your plumbing work!
Excellent video. There is definitely a dearth of info on this product. Very useful. Thanks!
Great video. I was looking for one that actually gave some idea on how loud or quiet it is.
Amazon has them for 99.00
Very nicely done!
Thanks for the clear video and walkthrough.
Good work on that pvc job.
Thanks for the video and great job!
I'm wondering is the water pass the black brace ? Or is the water right at the bottom of the black brace?
Thank you so much for doing this!!

You kept it the way it came? No modifications? That is silent for a stock overflow.

Thank you for the video. How's it working for you? Have you encountered any problems, big or small?
How did you place the gaskets that come with the kit, I have a medium but have not installed yet.
What’s the waterline like? Also did you use the template to drill it?
No update?
Do you remember where you drilled the aquarium?

cool
I heard it hard to set the template on a rim aquarium so you dont see your waterline how did you do yours
if you set the template on the inside you can tuck it up close to the rim and drill from the inside to the outside.
Looks very nice, did it leak?
How were the gaskets installed? I bought the medium.
Santo Jaime there's 2 gaskets. Both go against the glass, one on the inside and one on the outside
Thanks! There isn't much info on these overflows. Your setup looks great.
How did you wet your water level, did the template work out as planned? Was it accurate to the water level?
What size pump are you using, like gph?
At the beginning of the video....we see the water line....not great !!! It's an error or the way the box is built and can't go higher...?

What return pump are you using?
Was it easy to drill through the glass?
Sergio Arguello yea actually. Easy and quick.
Fuck that mine is freaking loud as hell.
You NEVER want to restrict the drain..............Take that ball valve off..............
David Mascioli You need the valve to adjust the siphon.
i have never heard that?
@@SnakeJr1225 he's incorrect, the valve is on the main drain. There is no valve on the emergency overflow. It's set up correctly.
@@SteHughes90 agreed
Ball valve a big no. Your pump should be adjusting all flow. Your pump return should be restricted not the in flow.
