Basic demonstration on how to silence an Eshopps overflow. Overflow: www.bulkreefsu... Piping: www.bulkreefsu... Valve: www.bulkreefsu... Pump www.amazon.com...
thank you so much for making this video for some reason the eshopps overflows have no info on how to fit any plumbing inside the box... i got the large overflow and 90* fittings dont fit for the conventional Bean Animal style. This is a life saver!
You made the water level so high on the box, that the water trickles over the blue pipe, which was originally the red emergency drain pipe. Water should not always be going down that pipe if ever. Now you have no safety since you’ve tuned the emergency as part of the main drain system. The box you have is a single drain, if the box isn’t able to be tuned, turn the pump down and keep the water level below that blue pipe. The trickle noise and sloshing, is your warning sounds that the main drain may be blocked. If the pump turned down and you still can’t drain enough to keep the water level 1/2 way in the box, then your box is too small and you needed a medium or even a large with dual drains.
if you are talking the one he extended( left) you have too much going down the right side one and need to install a valve as stated to dial it in. if the right side is sucking air you may have a clog in your box inside the tank or some other way to not have the water deep enough above the down tube.
@@camarokid518 It may have to do with the height of your new pipe for the emergency? If its not high enough it can still cyclone. Also, mine still will cyclone for a minute or two before it eventually stops.

That red pipe that you made blue, wasn’t supposed to used as a drain. It’s an emergency when the primary drain fails. Now you have no fail safe.
How? If one cloggs the other is still running no?

Hey man you should do a video of your plumbing setup. It’s super clean
This is what I had to do with mine and it works!!
That’s exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Thanks for the tip!
Thank you!
That’s exactly what I did lol 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
And now you have no emergency drain
That’s what I’m trying to figure out lol this is a recipe for disaster
Having same issue. What size tank? And what size pump are you using?
The tank is a 40 breeder and I have a Jaebo DCP-2500 pump running at full speed.
My major problem is outside box creating a cyclone funnel
