- Hi friends! I promised some of you'd I'd do some simple focal bead pendant wraps, so you can use all those large, cute Focal Beads you have! This wrap is soooo beginner friendly, uses a top-drilled, almond-shaped bead, and shows you a simple bale and some curly techniques. Best of all, it's reversible! I know our precious beads are finished on all sides, so why waste one! I'll be doing a few more to show you other shapes and some weaved designs.
You can change the curly design wires each time and the bead to make each pendant unique! These pendants are quick and so cute on a 'pleather' rope or pretty fairy ribbon! I give you a bale large enough to take a small strand of beads if you don't want to wear it on a chain or ribbons.
Materials and tools are always listed in the first 10 seconds of my videos.
3 x 12 inches of 20 gauge, round, soft copper wire.
1 x 12 inches of 22 gauge, half round wire
1 x Focal bead, TOP DRILLED, of any shape up to 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Mine is a Fossil Coral, almond-shaped bead. The hole is from the top center to the bottom center and large enough to accept a 20 gauge wire.
Have fun!

Thank you so much, Barb! I appreciate you! Please also subscribe if you've not done so already, thanks again!
Beautiful. I also got tickled when you said you were going to travel a bit with the wire and a train whistle sounded in the background😂. But seriously, beautiful plus your soft voice made a very helpful tutorial.
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, we have the ol'train near by :D I hadn't noticed the timing, that's awesome! LOL! Thanks for this fun comment, Sharen!

Thank you, Caro! 😊
Beautiful 💛😀
Thank you! 😊
Love, love, love beginner friendly tutorials especially when the stones have holes in them since I have a boatload to begin with! - holes that run at the top from front to back and also top drilled running side to side. Thank you for including the hole-y ones and can't wait for more shapes and designs to come! You are my greatest inspiration and after I'm done with a few other projects in the works (not wire wrap related) I can't wait to dive in!
Thank YOU, Tree Sa! I love the hole-y ones too, here is a top side drilled Focal pendant wrap if you've not seen it yet?
It's a hammered and layered style pendant, like the cabochon pendants, but using a tie on for the side to side drill. Enjoy! czcams.com/video/hXCA5umvHd8/video.html
@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry YES! Thanks for sharing that video link. I believe I'm going to try a version of that one first... Even for a beginner, it's seems a tad bit complicated, but with determination, I may be able to pull it off!

Really cute! Reminds me of stemmed flowers and the curl going up the bale is a great detail. I've been meaning to try that. Thanks again for all your inspiration. 💙

Hermoso!!
Thank you!💕
Thank you for sharing this video, just love how your pendant turned out, so georgous !!!! I want to try this once i get some stones. Where did you get your stones?
Thank you! I got these at a gem show called Intergem (International Gem and Jewelry Show) ... it comes through once a quarter and I got these years ago. You can probably look up your local bead store (try locally owned bead stores)... rather than main big brands, the little rock shops tend to have more interesting beads... at least in my opinion. We have several locally owned rock and bead shops here and they all offer really lovely strands.
That peice of tape on your pliers was a test, wasn't it? 🤣 I tried to blow it off a couple times. It got me nervous🤣🤣🤣
Ha Ha! OCD played into that, surely with me! I liked how she mentioned about it... made me laugh!
LOL... hugs! Sometimes, it's my way of 'steadying my nerves'... learning to ignore an itch, you could say. It helps when I'm warming up to do some customs ;)
it mighta been a test too! LOL!!! I have a funny sense of humor sometimes.
hahaha!... thanks Tree Sa, it was a battle in my mind between... do I stop to get that? Or do I just drive us all a bit nuts and leave it there because I don't want to let go of the wire.
