- Hi friends! Make these darling springtime earrings using all your favorite beads! These are easy to make and super cute! I talk you step by step through making each earring in a mirrored fashion.
Hammering is optional. Tools and Materials are listed in the first 15 seconds of the video. Materials are also listed below.
Materials are 2 x 13 inches of 20 gauge, soft, round copper (or silver) wires.
8mm round, pillow or oval beads with a hole large enough for a 20g wire (standard gemstone drill).
I also show you how to make the earring hooks at the end.

Good Afternoon, if you could help me out please. My son gifted me a shopping spree for Rio Grande!! So happy🎉 but I have no idea what to get,I use parawire mostly n do enjoy it but since I've been a member I think I could upgrade( With such Fantastic Teacher🎉🎉🎉) what do you recommend I have bare round parawire from 14g - 28g so I was thinking sq n half round since you them quite often which sizes should I get?? @@nancyneason7002 Wow! Lucky you! You have a good son. 😃 If you are considering upgrading to precious metals, Rio Grande has an excellent selection of sterling silver and argentium silver wire. They also have some beautiful sparkle pattern wire (in silver and/or gold filled wire ) and the best part about it is you can buy most of it by the inch. I found that to be super helpful to me when I first started using precious metals. It allowed me to buy some short sample pieces so I'd know what to order the next time. Argentium and Fine silver are my favorites. They resist tarnish better than sterling silver because neither contains copper. I use a lot of 18 and 20 gauge silver round wire for chainmaille jump rings, 26 gauge for wire wrapping or 10 gauge half round for soldered ring bands. The sparkle wire makes interestingly beautiful jump rings that add that special flair to jewelry whether it be a pair of earrings or a bracelet. Anyway, I get excited about shopping at Rio Grande so I'm sending you my best wishes for your shopping spree, Nancy, and I hope you have fun shopping!👍😊

What happened to my favorite beautiful blue chalcedony bead earrings made in the demo?😭 Anybody besides me notice she put earwires on green bead earrings? LOL! The green ones are super cute but not as beautiful as the blue ones (blue was my favorite!❤). Excellent tutorial though! 👍😊 Thanks!
Yes, I did the ear wires on a different set as not all folks have the same shapes for beads, I wanted to show a simple round pair that most folks probably have beads for. I do that in several videos, show variation on shapes of stones or in this case beads.
