- Today we try to understand How men think in relationships by analyzing the book "Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man" from Steve Harvey. And we are going to talk about the movie that inspired the book as well and it is called "Think like a man".
In the book, Steve Harvey gives his perceptive on being a man in a relationship, he gives us advice, tell us to set boundaries and protect ourselves as women. To make sure we select the best high caliber man, and to be aware of the mistakes some women do in relationships.

to add on to what you said, i completely agree that letting the man know that you're looking for a long term serious relationship is important but i also believe that we shouldn't tell them what kind of man we're looking for because then all they're going to do is morph into that man and once they have you, they'll start to show who they really are! it's better to keep it short and brief.

There’s a song by Kirko Bangs where he talks about “type of chick takes three months to lay it down”, so even 90 days is way too short imo some men enjoy the game so much they will wait extended periods of time then leave you once they get what they want.... I would wait until he makes serious commitment like engagement or especially marriage... that’s how you know he’s not playing with your heart and wasting your time . Speaking from experience
I completely agree and I think that 90 days is way too short. I was just trying to stay open minded for maybe people that don't think like me 😂

Yes they like the game, this piss me off, i made a man wait more than that to find out he is a manipulative narcissist 😂😂😂 and after a year of relashionship he made a drama saying "why did you make me wait so much?" I felt kinda guilty about it but now I think that I should've make him wait even more so I would realize that he doesn't deserve me and walk away, honestly.
@@ludsayuri3847 yes that sucks but lesson learned. That’s why waiting until marriage is important. It’s weeds out men who would even wait years to sleep with you but had no intention of ever marrying you. Your sexual power is one of your most valuable assets of all time.
honestly, people should have sex when they feel like it and accept that if you do that, the relationship may not last. u just never know. u can wait until marriage and the marriage wont last a year. whats more important is seeing how the guy treats you, how he responds whenever u feel insecure..
These videos on femininity made me realise I'm attracted to women and I'm the provider energy haha. But yes, nothing more rewarding than her being able to receive your energy and being taken care of.
"You don't need a man, you ARE a man". Ouch. For all my life I tried to please my father by being a 'son' and suppressing my inborn super girly-ness. People used to tell me how lucky I was because I didn't need a man to do things for me. I don't want to be fake, but I started by giving away all my tools and work boots :) I would give anything to have a man do the manly things.
Are you me?? I was trying so hard to prove myself to my dad who loved to have a son but didn't end up having one....but forever dreams to have one.... I looked almost like a boy when I was a teen just to make my Dad happy!! It took me years and a failed marriage to finally realise what went wrong...that I had always been the "man" financially and relationship dynamics wise with my ex.

I also read after that one , ,,Why man love bithes " and ,,Why man marry bithes " ,currently reading ,,Man are from mars,women are from venus"I'm only 19. year's old but i think that this way of thinking is also useful in career. A great movie that actually shows a very successful seduction of a playboy is Don Jon. However, the message of the movie is that essentially they were both playing roles that weren't actually healthy, and Don changes by finding actually chemistry with another person. Scar-Jo's character is fantastic tho and I would recommend it to those who want to see what a 90-day rule would look like.
I think that it is very important for us to realize that we are very precious and valuable far beyond sex.

You might like the book "Why Men Love B*tches". It's not as horrible as it sounds ha. It's very much like Steve Harvey's book with the same thoughts but with a bit more detail about specific situations. I have have both on my Kindle. There is "Why Men Marry B*tches" but I haven't read that yet.

honestly, i feel like the same goes for being interested too soon. i hate that, i hate that people are like that. i met a guy on tinder, who at the begining, was very interested, he would carry on the conversation and i´d just reply. over time i made sure to be reciprocate and initiate too. thats when he started to show less interest, be less engaging and so on. its like, i took over the relationship and started to "serve" him. and i hate that i have these split personalities, where i want a guy to fight for me, take care of me, show interest and ge a gentleman, and at the same time, worry about what is just and wanting to be authentic and recpiprocate. its not that i want a servant lmao but i just want more. like damn it, i wanna feel that i am worth it, not that i am a consolation price.

Some things I don’t agree with Dreamer. In my opinion, if a man isn’t finically successful! Drop him! I’m not going to stick around for you to be successful, my time is valuable! So you either have the money to impress me or I will have nothing to do with you! One of my standards is that I want a man that makes 6 figures or more. I agree with Steve when he said boss woman have trouble finding a man that works well with them, that’s bc 2 masculine energies clash.
