THANK YOU! This thing was driving me crazy. I got it a few years ago. I had it apart, and the little picture that came with it was very confusing. I gave it to a friend, and then found an extra piece for it at home. Yesterday, while helping my friend unpack from a move, I found the rest of the puzzle, and with this video, I was finally able to put it together.
Imagine a man who spent hours and hours trying to put this goddamn puzzle back together without it working, only to discover that one of his pieces was wrong and that all his effort was for nothing
Thank you dude, I was cleaning the shelf where it was and it came apart, it’s been sitting unsolved for the past 5 months, now thanks to you it is solved, and back in the shelf, first try too

This was VERY HELPFUL in solving a similar diamond/cube puzzle by Greenbriar International... with horrible incorrect instructions. Same concepts, more pieces. Thank you!

This is a facinating puzzle. Your wooden one seems very loose. I have the plastic version made by QY of China which is about the same size & its pieces are tighter bcoz plastic moulded pieces are more accurately made & very wear resistant. There's one unique piece that needs to be folded down & up in order to slot in the other pieces when disassembling & assembling. If frequently done, the wooden piece will wear off very fast & the puzzle will be loose.
@@PhilipRoeland Great. Same puzzle, different color and name. I can call this "Star" or "Brown Dwarf" since I have the one with brown spikes. Spikes? "Spike Ball"! Burr Puzzles look like some of the puzzles I have. I can call the Pi puzzle a Globe puzzle since it reminds me now of the way continents fit together. Those True Genius Curators are, well, true geniuses. Thanks. Also, my Plum Blossom goes by the official name of Aztec Passion Flower.
I got one for Christmas, it has all three straight pieces the same. He mentions that some do at 1:10. It's very stable when put together - I had to find this video to figure out how to take it apart initially. (Then how to put it back together)
This really did not help me! I am still trying and it keeps falling apart. The first part is good, but the second part about how to put that thingy thing clockwise.. that does not work!!
Well it took a bit but it eventually twisted round I've dismantled and put it together many times now and it's becoming way easier to twist. Just force it a bit it's probably just the models not been made super well. It feels like its gonna snap when your twisting it but don't worry if u do it right should be fine
This didn't help at all I have a different piece and when I got to 2:39 my piece wouldn't go in at all. I tried to find the right video but none of them are working.

Absolutely. Some puzzles have totally different names. The plum blossom is for example also referred to as snowflake.

What if my snowflake doesn't have the small notch on one of the three straights? I think mine keeps on collapsing because of that.
