- Tony, Newt, and @Klayton Fioriti review the first Jurassic World. In this Podcast/Movie Review they will talk about the things that make this reboot of the Jurassic Park franchise Wild! From the finally seeing a fully functioning park under attack, to the insane new hybrid dinosaur, and the most over the top dinosaur fight ever put to film.
Located off the coast of Costa Rica, the Jurassic World luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinos to run amok. Now, it's up to a former military man and animal expert (Chris Pratt) to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.

Klayton has got to be the most reasonable "fanboy" of anything I've seen in my life. Refreshing to see someone able to remain this objective about the media they're passionate about.
I think there's a tipping point where you become so infatuated with the thing you love for so long you can't help but criticize and poke fun of it and yourself because everyone you're a fanatic with already agreed it's awesome and now you're nitpicking and having fun.

Eddie's death was just depressing, because the man was just doing his job and then dies because of Nick Van Owen's stupid decision.

Simon Masrani didn't want to destroy the Jurassic Park Visitor Center because he would have wanted it as a historical monument and part of a Jurassic Park Museum on the Island.
The resort was still planning on building attractions and locations on the Island, and one of those attractions/locations was a museum dedicating Jurassic Park's History.

I was under the impression that the reason why they don't have planes, is to reduce the impact of modern civilization on the island. The overall point of Jurassic Park is to be as close to Jurassic as possible, a plane flying overhead would ruin the illusion and might disrupt the animals

Honesty, I had alot of fun with this movie. I'm a sucker for silly dinosaur mayhem and goofy characters.

In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the Gyrosphere that Claire and Franklin were trapped in was in the middle of the open and was exposed to heated by the sun.
But even then, the bullets didn't even go through the Gyrosphere. They just hit the surface and drowned to the bottom.

It ok Tony when that Phantasm review came out I watched all of them in one night as well because I had no idea there were that many and I was enamored with how ridiculous it kept getting. I did the same with sleep away camp (brace yourself cuz I'm about to drop some heresy) but I really like the sequels and the lady that played the killer.
I think newt meant Kawhi Leonard not kylie Irving on the raptors in 2019. Coincidentally kawhi's nickname is the klaw.

I heard a rumor that Zara's character was suppose to be mean to the kids. Something about not getting married and dumps her frustration on the kids which is why her death was the most brutal. But they had changed her character. Don't know if this rumor is true though.

I have a theory as to why Zara had a really messed up death. I think it's honestly because she was a woman. Zara was the first woman to die in a JP movie, so they wanted to make a huge spectacle of it.

Wait a second. The movie takes place during Christmas time, and there are no Christmas decorations at a theme park??? I had never stopped to think about it. I guess they thought it'd be weird to have X-mas trees, and Santas in a tropical setting, but it is NOT weird. I live in a tropical country and people decorate with reindeers and snowman figures, it's normal. And before anyone says there was no Christmas during dinosaurs time, Jurassic World is a theme park first, and it's never aimed for authenticity.

Say what you want about the scene where Owen rides with the raptors, I thought that was an awesome scene and Klayton speaking of the raptor riding a motorcycle, the Lego Jurassic world game would do that with one of the JW raptors

13:03 I don't want to be that guy but do any of you guys know how to fly a plane? I know there is going to be that one guy who says the JP3 had a runway, ok but that was for a small plane. Not a big commercial airplane. What if a dinosaur blocks the runway or the island needs mass evacuation flying 1 plane at a time seems stupid, where multiple sea ports can take people away at a larger number

Tony talks out of his ass a lot "Even though it doesn't fit the story" Really? from a story standpoint it makes perfect sense, the I-Rex has been this dominating thing threw out the whole movie because it's a giant carnivore and has no equal but then Bryce Dallas Howard's character remembers there's another giant carnivore dinosaur on the island that can possiblly take down the I-Rex or the very least hold it off long enough for them to escape so tell me again how it doesn't fit the story?
Yeah, I honestly do not like Tony's input on the videos, especially with Cinemassacre.
The video I hated the most that he was in was the King Of The Monsters, he kept interrupting James and said so many dumb things.

I thought this movie was good, didn't like the sequel, but this one was really fun to watch. Though my favorite sequel in the Jurassic Park franchise is Jurassic Park 3.
The concept of a safari park full of cloned dinosaurs is just so strong that it helps make Jurassic Park and Jurassic World the best films in the series. The sequels that try to do something different just don't have the same impact.

I really enjoyed this video. I liked Jurassic World and remember going to see it opening night. I will say though that the whole Jeep thing ticked me off to no end. That thing was sitting there for 20 years and there wasn't a rats nest in the wiring or corroded connections or broken belts? Let alone the whole gas, oil and air in the tires. Although I will say I always thought that they got something other than the battery from the broken atv
Anklyosaurus or whatnot is also my favorite dinosaur. Funny enough I didn't know that I think they may have first found them in the province I live in. Maybe they found them near drumheller (town or City where the next ghostbuster film was filmed). Alberta,, Canada.
I can't get mad at Tony mixing up cable and bishop their costumes where to similar and even though I knew who did what I would always confuse the names
