Meet the most recent acquisition, the cheapest, greeziest idi on marketplace. Couldn't pass it up, in the next few weeks I'll probably do a couple videos of cleaning up this old pile.
I love the old ford 7.3 idi daily driver is a1993 ford f 350 crew cab 4x4 e4od transmission I bought this truck 10 years ago I like this truck I have put a new injection pump and injectors at 250,000 miles it made it run like new again I have been offered a crazy price for it but i like my truck I couldn't bring myself to sell it my truck has been in far west Texas all its life no rust lol
They do run a long time. I ran one for two years plowing with it for the wrist pen, sounding like it was gonna come through the side of lock for two years, beating the hell out of it, and still ran.
Nice truck man! Just bought a super cab 1986 f250 4x4 6.9idi automatic from the original owner! No dents no rust garage kept. Engine so clean you can eat off it! 80,000 original miles. I Paid 4,200.00 for it. On my way home saw a single cab I stopped exactly like yours 87 f250 diesel 4x4 not running solid body paid 1500.00 for it. Hasn't run in 6 years. Just got it to run has alot of miles probably rolled over once or twice? I'm in the south Georgia I get these motors cheap less than 500.00. I'm moving to alaska is it worth me healing up several complete drive trains and parts up there to alaska?
There's plenty of parts for them around here, it's usually running driving trucks that go for high dollar, especially if they can start in the cold weather

Nice, Slave Lakes younger cousin.
Do I see a pipe bumper and expanded mesh grill in it's future?😁

A little trick to avoid grinding into reverse is putting it in 4th or 5th first.
